Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Okay, my need to obsessively stalk scored me a move from a regular, water-view room with which I was perfectly happy (I’d already ordered some food/drink to be delivered for MYOCL) to a club level room. Cant say I’m not super-excited though - especially since the forecast doesn’t look so great next week. Y’all are a bunch of enablers.
At YC? Where are you staying? Have fun.

BWI. We actually haven’t stayed at Innkeepers since the remodel although it used to be our go-to club level. I’m excited to check it out! Hope the weather cooperates for both of us!
Never stayed there, but the remodel looks SO nice. Have a great trip.

Hello everyone. After a long absence here on the club level forum, I am happy to say we will finally be staying club level again. We have a split stay to the Wilderness Lodge May 9-13 and Boardwalk Inn May 13-18. I am so excited to experience a new club level and see our favorite CMs again at the Boardwalk. Plus it looks like I may get to meet some fellow club level forum members :). We will be celebrating me being 4 years cancer free (one more year to go to be released by cancer doctor) and My husband’s birthday. :dogdance::cake:
So happy you are going back! I guess you had a change of heart since we last talked😁

Yes, we are CL @ YC too. We’ve always enjoyed YC a lot. But after trips to CR Tower Club, GF RPC & now WL CL within the last year, YC a needs to really step up their game. I peeked into the lounge as we were leaving for a dinner ADR. They had brick chicken w/ a roasted potato & corn dogs as the hot apps. And the same Thai chicken salad they’ve had for years.
How does the SAB remodel look? Is there water in all the pools? Lots more work to do?

Some pictures from yesterday, walking inside from Epcot

We walked by again quick on our way to dinner, I think the lazy river had water in it by then. But I didn’t get a picture so not positive I saw right.
Thanks for all the pics. Looks like they’ve made lots of progress, but still lots of scaffolding up still.

Couldn’t get the picture, needed both hands for my ice cream, lol. Will try tomorrow.

They’re also moving along on the rooms. When we arrived yesterday, we could see plastic & blue tape around the windows in the 2nd floor rooms along the back entrance & in the turret suite. Late afternoon yesterday from our balcony I could see people working in some of the regular rooms on the 2nd floor as well. When we came back to the hotel around 2:30 this afternoon, all the plastic was off rooms & there curtains hanging in all the 2nd floor rooms. We could see someone starting to put plastic on the 1st floor turret suite windows. I didn’t look at other wings of the building to see if there was any work going on.

Definitely water in the lazy river area. Will try to get a picture soon.
Looking forward to your live update. The latest pictures posted show water in the lazy river section but the bottom returns were still not secured, and there was at least 1 hose in the water. Maybe a leak test or since it is so deep it is safer with water in the pool.

I have not seen any good shots of the shipwreck slides, and pool area to indicate any improvements in that section.

Walking to Epcot yesterday I tried looking that way, but there was equipment & supplies along the side so I couldn’t see anything there from the YC side. I’ll try to check better tomorrow.

Next there will be pot roast w/mashed potatoes, pulled pork,

And the winner in predicting tonight’s YC apps is @Ricguz! :thumbsup2:rotfl: We went after 6, the place was packed so no pictures. But the “hot” apps were the predicted pot roast/ mashed potatoes & pulled pork. Also chicken nuggets & a hot crab dip with crostini. The crab dip was new to me & very good. Hot is in quotes because, they really weren’t. Something I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. :sad2: There was also a small plated shrimp cocktail. As in very small shrimp. For the life of me I can’t remember what other cold items were there. I also noticed the lemonade & iced tea were served in metal pitchers instead of the large beverage dispensers. There is 1 of those, but it has flavored water.

And yes, vacation ice cream wins out. :lmao:
