Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

So this was exactly our issue after our first CL stay! We found ourselves really wanting to be back at the lounge for dinner, to take advantage of the "free" food (family of six, it adds up!). We are headed back at the end of the month so this time we decided to do a split stay....the first few days we will be spending more time in the parks, then the last part relaxing in the WL lounge!
We only did one late night at Hollywood Studios. And my husband laughed at me because I made my family stop and get churro bites since we missed dessert at the lounge 😜 The food was very good.

@ danikoski -- WL CL can be available for about 150 per room, per night. So, you could book a
standard room and do the Club Level add on. To do this, you need to go to the front desk upon
arrival and ask if a paid club level add on is available. If so, they will let club level staff know and will
fix so your bands so that you have entry. I actually prefer this as I don't love the club level floor
closed balconies. This can be a good value and a good way to end a trip. I've never heard of someone
being denied when asked, but it is based on availability.

I find the first club level stay has a way of sticking with you.......:dancer:

Interesting pic that shows how prominent Lakeshore Lodge will be from this particular height/angle from WL.

Great pics.
I saw the same thing and had the same thoughts as you. At 10 Stories Lakeshore Lodge is going to loom over Bay Lake and it reminds me of the early discussions (complaints) about the Island Tower at the Poly.

ETA: words again...

The view from the lakeside of CR is going to be very different. We were there in November and it already looked so changed with the land clearing, etc. I’m going to miss the serene view.

I have mixed feelings about Lakeshore Lodge because I'm not loving the look of Poly Tower on Seven Seas. I'm glad there will be another place to stay on Bay Lake and maybe it'll make WL not quite so busy ;) but I very much enjoy looking out at the woodland at WL and that new tower is going to be pretty much in sight for every courtyard WL resort room that can see the lake.

Oh how perfect thank you!!!!! Now I know I made the right choice.. your room view was awesome!!!!! Do you remember the number?
Yes, we were on the fourth floor in a Deluxe Club Level Room. Due to the hurricane that came through a few days before we arrived, we were told some of the rooms had roof damage and we had to pack up and move down the hall the second night to another Deluxe Room. (Ironically same view, just farther down from Innskeepers Club Lounge and outside CL door. As long as you have a Deluxe Room, you should have a water/boardwalk view. If you have a Resort CL Room I think you can request the water/boardwalk view. Honestly, even the garden view seems very nice from the Innkeepers Club Lounge windows. But, coming in from a dry climate, we appreciate the water view! Being on the same floor as Club Level was also very helpful for our family. Look forward to hearing about your trip when you return! Any other questions let us know.

Thank you for all this great information!

Can anyone share photos or a link to the pages in this thread of the Tower Club Lounge and food offerings at The Contemporary? I'm not finding any when I do a search because most threads seem to be comparing Tower Club to Atrium but no pictures? My husband I managed to get a Resort View King Club Level Room for next month and if I read this thread correctly, that should put us on the 14th floor with the Tower Club.

We were in that king room for 3 nights at Christmas. I only got pictures a few times. Breakfast IMG_3945.jpegIMG_3946.jpegIMG_3948.jpegIMG_3949.jpegIMG_3950.jpegIMG_3951.jpegIMG_3952.jpegIMG_3953.jpeg

Sorry, the pictures aren’t the best, I try to get the info cards & the foods both, so not always a good angle. Breakfasts were similar every morning, except the hot item, like the crepes changed. There was either bacon or sausage every morning, as well as the plant based sausage. For appetizers, there was penne pasta & sauce 2 of the evenings, along with crudite, rolls, sushi, cheese, crackers etc.

The afternoon snacks are basically the same as every CL offers… a few flavors of packaged chips, crudite, & cookies. We don’t drink, so I never check the alcohol offerings. And we don’t eat sushi, so not sure what those items are either. I didn’t get pictures of desserts, but there were mini cupcakes, cookies, a mini pudding/ mousse, min tart & a brownie.

I absolutely love that room. This was our 3rd stay there. I could spend the whole stay on the balcony, lol. The CL stay is so nice, Holly was there most of our days. She is so nice, friendly & welcoming. I hope you enjoy your stay!!

Thank you so much! This information is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you for posting these! We are in the same resort view king room in April for our 25th anniversary. Those CL offerings look so good!! This will be our first time back at the CR in several years.

Did they have the resort specific slippers when you were there?

Sadly, no. Just generic white ones. We had YC & GF logo ones at those resorts in September.

Also, I forgot to mention, there was some type of egg dish & the cheesy potatoes every morning. I’m not an egg eater, but had the potatoes every morning. They were very good.

Those cheesy potatoes looked yummy!

Bummer about the slippers, but glad they still have them:)
