Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Ha, in the 10 min I was dithering over it, someone swiped the RPC room for Wed! If I have to move around anyways, I'll go to CR. Might as well save the money.

Thanks, you guys.
That makes sense. It's an easy move too. You could always keep checking to see if something pops up. They are both easy for deluxe extra hours so you can't go wrong either way.

Agree. I’ve been wanting to give CR another try, too, tbh. Maybe my judgement was coddled by the eggs ;). The price difference is pretty big!

Glad you got the room you wanted. Sad you will miss the eggs though🤣
B/c ya’ll know I’d have taken many photos. Coddled eggs in shadow. Coddled eggs motion blur. Coddled eggs in repose. Monochrome coddled eggs.

Coddled eggs abandoned on the table.

(I’m kidding, of course. I wouldn’t actually waste them.)

Edited: Bc I can’t spell.

Quick BWI question for you pros. I want to order a case of water from amazon (we like sports cap). I think it is a convention hotel so does the hotel hold my delivery or it goes somewhere else and I have to pick it up. If that's the case, I will just order from grocery delivery or just drink water with a boring top from the gift shop lol. I don't care if there's a fee, I just don't want to have to lug a case of water.

What would the club level gurus do (WWCLGD)?

It's me again, the one who flies out from California more than is reasonable to go to WDW because I grew up in Florida and DL is not the same. I shape most trips around a weekend w/my sister and niece, so it often impacts hotel choice, dates, rides, etc. We're headed to MNSSHP in late August, on a Friday. SD and DN will arrive Friday. GF RPC, we all have the D+ discount. I'm flying out nonstop via Alaska on Thursday right now, but arriving at 4 pm - I have solo dinner res Thurs (deciding between Citricos and CG). I have been back and forth about switching to a Wed arrival on a different airline using miles (I can do Delta or United) - work in the morning, arrive late. The refund from Alaska (I have refundable tix - that's all I'll buy right now after being burned a few times) will pay for half of another room night and there are discounted rooms available, so that works out. Now I'm back and forth about saying the heck with it all and arriving early enough to do the Deluxe Hours on Wed night. I'd have to shift some things at work, though - not ideal because I'll be on vacation the week before, but that is far more MY guilt than anything else. I experienced major burnout at the start of this year - I work too hard - and am really trying to take more time for myself.

I just can't decide. I love having those extra days to myself, even though it's taken a bit to get used to rolling solo. Having the whole day to myself Thursday would be amazing, I can do all the rides my DS and DN won't do. Arriving for Deluxe Hours would be even better, and it makes it easier to justify that extra night. So here are my choices:

Fly early Wed to attend Deluxe Hrs, use miles, stay one extra night RPC with D+ discount if I can arrive early enough for apps (would cost me about $250 more)
Fly later Wed, miss Deluxe Hrs, use miles, stay one extra night, probably outer building with D+ discount (break even)
Fly Thurs, paid flight, minimal park time Thurs, Friday morning to myself.

The money isn't really much of an issue, TBH, I just feel guilty.

ETA: another idea would be to stay at a different resort Wed night - I can do CR CL and break even (save like $20). But I'd maybe want to move my own bag Thursday morning!
2020 in Feb I was supposed to meet dd. However a huge storm coming to northeast so I flew a day earlier . Omg I loved it!

I arrived 1am at CBR. I walked my bag to RR next day which was supposed to be check in day. I went to MK then boat to GF and got a Veuve Cliquot champagne because I didn't HAVE CL! Then when I got the room ready text I took bus from GF to HS and Skyliner to RR.

It was such a fun day👍

My vote is to do it.

It’s those darn evening hours!!! After the last time I added a night so I could do them, I’m a goner. I love traveling with DS and DN, but it can be kind of a lot accomodating others all the time. That extra night/day is the ultimate “me” time. Thanks, you guys. This is always my favorite thread, everyone’s just so kind.

Hi all!

Reporting from my first night at BC. I feel so bad saying this because I’m so fortunate to be able to afford club level in the first place, but I’m a little disappointed. These pictures plus some vegan brownies are the entirety of the dessert/cordial spread. Everything is delicious, but it seems a little…skimpy, maybe? The last time we stayed CL was in 2018, so I’m sure things have changed since then. We were also around for afternoon snack today, which was also a pretty small spread. I’ll have to see how breakfast is in the morning.

Our room is lovely and met our requests, so I’m thankful for that!

Unfortunately after noon snacks at all the resorts have been just “snacks” since reopening. I’ve also never been very impressed with desserts at most resorts. But breakfast & appetizers should be much better. Have a great vacation!

Don’t fret. It will be better at breakfast and light dinner. Don’t forget to ask for beer or wine ( anytime during the day) grab some crackers and cheese, go back to the room, sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. It’s the best part of club level.

@KrazeeK120 did you go for the apps tonight? We will be at YC on a Monday night next month. The menu looks great, but I’m wondering what the seafood roll is like - if you had it?

My husband had it, it’s a parkerhouse roll cut diagonally and had what he thought was a crab and shrimp salad in it. He said it was good, but a little difficult to eat. He would have preferred a sandwich.

I completely understand. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. My DS has suffered with food allergies plus asthma since he was around 10 months old, so I’m here if you need to talk. 🙂
I also have kids who were diagnosed with food allergies and asthma when they were babies. It can feel overwhelming but we are able to live happy, fulfilling lives with both situations!

(I found this thread because I'm trying to learn more about how club level can accomodate food allergies).

I know people were asking if CL was calling folks with reservations. I did get a call today from the BC re: my stay starting on Sunday. They asked when we would arrive, any food allergies, and if we were celebrating anything.
I am checking into the Innkeeper’s Club on Sunday and received my call today as well. I was given a phone number to call or text if I needed anything during my stay. I’m getting excited!
