I almost asked you if you saw the fireworks! We didn't have a view here.

I had to run up to the roof but I saw! I couldn’t believe it. Took it as a sign I should book.

Not very long at all...I want to say less than 10 minutes. Or maybe I didn’t hear them right away. It’s a lot noisier around here than YC lol.

I'm in that boat too. We have club level at Poly 8/13-8/22 booked early last year. We don't want to switch resorts either, just want to know if we can still be in the same location/building. I reached out via phone to guest services and they said we would be contacted at 30 days out if anything needed to be modified. I did also email them and was told that we would be able to get same location at Poly even if club isn't open, I hoping that's true.

Same boat here but it is WL CL and split stay transferring to CR non club on the 50th. (Technically we are checking into CR on the 30th) We called the first day they announced the CL reopening and CR was already full and we got BWI CL instead. also saved $200 pp. Call now.

We had a CL room booked at BWI starting July 18. We were contacted 35 days out and were informed that we had to move to a standard water view room instead of our deluxe boardwalk view CL room. I asked why we had to move from a boardwalk view room, and they said they were not allowed to book any of the CL rooms. But we are super excited to hear fireworks will return - hoping for news about FP and early entry.

I wonder why they can't let you stay in the same room and just refund the CL fee.

I noticed that too! This morning I was able to book club level for my stay starting Dec 8th.

Maybe its the lack of discounts, but AKL seems a lot more expensive than I remember!

I actually don’t know, hopefully someone who does will give you a more definitive answer!

I suspect it will be in the ballpark of 6 am ET, like ADRs. However, I would also check after MN just because I’m like that! When they released CL bookings I started checking around 5:55 am and saw a room available,
The gist I got from social media is some people had been able to book a little sooner but I don’t think hours sooner, just in the 5:30 am range.

I’m sorry, I don’t know. Feels like the last few have been 6/7am’ish, but I’m not sure?

Update: the rooms were opened at 6 A.M. for booking at AKL. I checked at 2:30, 5:30, and 5:58 and the resort was still listed as "closed".

Probably stating the obvious, but for those who have struggled with reservations this fall - and let's just assume for the sake of discussion all rooms are available to book - with something like 970 rooms, AKL is a rather large resort by room count. As AKL fans move their reservations around, it will likely open up rooms at other places. Should be a good time to keep regularly checking availability and see if things pop up.

The prices seem to be in line with the 2021 rack rate chart published by Mousesavers. Doesn’t look like there have been any unexpected increases.

I’ve been periodically checking for a “snafu” at the Poly to replace CR - no such luck yet!

2. Poly/AKL CL split (at least get cl for part of trip)
