Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Just got a call from a CM at WL regarding our stay, and I was initially worried since we check in tomorrow. The CM had noticed our request for a king bed, and checked with a room assigner and there wasn’t one available on the CL floor. However, she offered a courtyard view king room on the 6th floor instead, with a refund of the difference in cost between my original CL std room and the courtyard room with the CL add-on. Since we don’t care if we’re on the same floor as the lounge, we jumped at the chance to save $300 and definitely get the king bed. That was so nice of them. They could have just given us a 2-queen room and said sorry, there’s no king room available. It’s starting this trip out on a fabulous note, that’s for sure.

I reached out to SS staff this past week to take care of a few glitches. (I'm one of the peeps that has never had a call FROM SS prior to arrival.) They were wonderful. I did it all through email, as I am VERY HOH, and even with voice to text, I struggle to understand a few things. I also received a VM after the 2 or 3 emails, and again very professional and helpful. I was very pleased with all the interactions with everyone.

Not in the ones we have stayed at....YC, GF RPC both this year, BWI, CR & BC a few years ago.

I’m happy to hear that!! My kids are excited, so I’m happy. I thought my little one would have been more creeped out by the slide, but he thinks it looks ‘awesome!’ lol I’m looking forward to trying out a new resort.

LOL someone showed them in the Youtube videos we watched the other day!! Between the clown slide and chairs, I think they’re trying to keep it an adults only resort!! SO creepy!

A short review on our recent YC stay,


We love the Yacht and Beach resorts, love the smell of this lobby.

This stay was what we had hoped for, pleasant and relaxing. CL staff here are very nice! I always love being remembered by name!



The Club Lounge here is not HUGE, but very effective and nice! It is nice sitting out on the balcony enjoying some of the little Pita breads with garlic ranch dressing to dip them in when the weather is beautiful.



Big plates!!!



It was nice having only one door immediately outside our room, less door opening and closing noise, we were in a standard view, the view was just fine IMO,




We were treated with some nice surprises more than once returning to our room, one time even a special delivery while we were in our room!!!



Our family really enjoys this area and staying here with an awesome pool is putting the cherry on top!

They prefer any adult beverages being taken to the pool to be in plastic cups and typically enforce that more than other resorts, I’m cool with that though.

If you have been considering a stay at Yacht Club give it a try you may end up liking this resort as much as we do, often times when asking the kids which resort, Y&B is usually one of the first blurted out!!!

It's Todd and Paul!! Love these two creepy dudes.

Those 2 are Helenka (in green) and Todd ( in blue)! If you look at the backs of the chairs, the names are there!

I was just at BWI last week and asked about Carrie (who has the same coloring as Todd & Paul!) and was in the lobby with Todd in October! I was told by a reliable source that several of the chairs are currently at the "chair doctor".

Paul (who is missing part of one foot) has been offstage for quite some time.
