A regular guest with a two week stay can book 60+14... so 74 days out from their check-in (for example).

??? Maybe I’m reading your post wrong coz it’s been a long week & I’m in pain from some oral surgery. But a regular guest starts booking at his 60 day mark, not before it. So someone booking a week of CL fastpasses has 3 weeks before a regular guest can book. If I misunderstood your post, sorry!

Thanks everyone- didn't multi quote but you know who you are My request is pretty basic, hoping for the daybed at YC and its my dd's 21st during our Polynesian trip but either won't make or break our trip as I can find a birthday button myself!

Ha! You likely are right, I probably mis-used a word or something. I need to let coffee sink in and re-look at what I wrote.

FP booking window language is always kind of tricky!

But in all seriousness... that’s weird you never got a response back to your e-mail - that’s not normal. I assume you’ve checked spam, different e-mails, etc?

Also, that is interesting about TAs. I’ve been reading this thread for a few years and don’t think I’ve ever seen those two concepts put together. Could be legit?

I always book through a TA. I've heard from them only 1 time and a TA did book that trip as well. Maybe I'm just special

.......The color scheme going up on the new Guardians of the Galaxy building appears to be aimed at camouflaging that big building to almost be part of the skyline, looks great! More Disney Magic, which is great IMO if they didn’t do something like that I was worried it could take away some dominance from Spaceship Earth being the parks centerpiece.

So sorry to hear about your mom - sending your family support from afar. I understand your disappointment, we were supposed to leave on Sunday and part of our stay was also at CR Atrium CL, but we had to cancel because my husband was scheduled for an unexpected surgery tomorrow. We have already rescheduled for January at BWI CL, and I hope you get rescheduled soon, too!

Thanks so much to all of you who offered their kind thoughts! It means so much to me and I am grateful for your support. Family comes first. We are scheduled for a February trip and we’re hopeful that will still hold. But in any case, we know we’ll be back to our very favorite place.

Thank you!!! His surgery did go well, he is home and recovering. Now, if I can just keep him from trying to do too much too soon until he heals!

Has anyone here been to the Wilderness Lodge recently or going to be there? I am so curious if they have begun renovating the main lodge rooms yet...sure would LOVE to see one, afraid it will be too modern for the theme but can't find confirmation of anything happening yet?!!

Checking in in 24 days! I'm curious, too. Hopefully someone here has had a recent stay. If not, I can report back after our trip.

I’ll try! We aren’t staying club level right now. I really wanted to, but my dates weren’t available. I check almost daily in case something opens up. For now the plan is to add on CL access when we check in. I’m hopeful an actual CL room will become available, although I’m not counting on it.

I used to book so far out, but in truth its being cut in half for availability has really made it less likely to both get a room and a good rate. I wonder if it isn't the smallest capacity club level? I used to snag 35% even 40% one year and last trip we could only get rack, ouch but it was a short stay. This time the best was 10%....

Sounds good to ask for an upgrade....I really wonder if a block of rooms are just that, blocked out for refurb or other....besides occupation.....maybe someone will cancel! My dates were available like in July but then not since, then poof 1/2 of the trip was!

So a few weeks before Thanksgiving break I have airfare for 3 booked for free with points, 2/3 of us had AP's. I booked FP's today and we are doing Wl for Fri-Sun 11/23-25 . I love flying from NE to MCO direct JetBlue and can watch Tgiving parade while we fly that morning. We will drive to Mom's and have a family dinner then leave on Friday for WDW.

Anybody else down there this holiday???

Just booked half of my summer stay for 2019 at Poly CL. Hope to maybe change it to July 4th week if I can get a better price. Fingers crossed!

We did that time of year many many years, then dd went to college and wanted to be HOME for the holiday. It's been since 2012 since I have been back for Thanksgiving. Sadly it also was the last trip with dear FIL. Good memories tho! SIL also came that year and the family was all together that year.

I finally did the 4th at poly this year. So so so so much fun! Lots of Dis friends there .
