In less than 36 hours I will be heading down to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time! Can't wait to see the Old Faithful Club and enjoy the Food and Wine festival!

I hope you have a great time. I can't wait to experience club level at WL.In less than 36 hours I will be heading down to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time! Can't wait to see the Old Faithful Club and enjoy the Food and Wine festival!![]()
We check in next Wednesday at BWI CL - Let me know if anyone wants pix of anything while I'm there. As long as I can figure out how to post them on here, I'll be happy to oblige![]()
We just returned from our sixth annual October stay at the Boardwalk's Innkeeper's Club. To be sure, the first rate CM staff (Jackie, Pete, Scott, Lorenzo, JJ, Anita, Linda, et al.) has been augmented by some relatively new faces (Melanie, Claudia, Jim, Katie, Joe, Steven, Erin, et al) all of whom are fine. And manager Kathy is a hands-on type!
We were pleased to see (on two occasions) barefoot guests in the Innkeeper's Lounge told that footwear was appropriate before entering the lounge. Excellent. We wish that policy was enforced at all WDW club levels.
Note: The Innkeeper's Lounge was consistently more crowded since additional rooms have been added to the Innkeeper's Club's roster of room.
We were pleased to see an upgrade of sorts in the food offerings. And the Merlot inventory which had been around for six-plus years was gone. Added was the wonderful Fess Parker Chardonnay, Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon (a satisfactory inexpensive wine), a pleasant, though nondescript, Pinot Gris and an hoi polloit Pinot Noir.
To be sure, Al, the gifted baker, still provides the awesome peanut butter and raspberry cake roll ups! Superb!
All the best!![]()

i just reread your post. Claudia isn't a very common name. Last year a Claudia was my texting buddy for cl at CR and Gf. Wonder if the same.We just returned from our sixth annual October stay at the Boardwalk's Innkeeper's Club. Me, too. When I was there a father and teen son wore socks into the lounge every day and put their feet up on the tables. Dreadful.
Thank you so much for this post. Could you tell us what the upgraded foods are? I was really concerned that the lounge would be really crowded with the added on rooms and it sounds like they are. Oh no! That doesn't sound good at all. We are doing a split stay in Feb. with the first 3 nights at the RPC and then moving to the BWI CL for the next week. Please fill us in when you get a chance. We haven't stayed at the RPC in a dozen years or more but it used to be our favorite until we had a bad experience and switched to the BWI CL and fell in love with it. I hope your trip improves, it's so disheartening to spend so much money for the flagship resort and then have a disappointing vacation.I can't wait to get to the Innkeepers club next month. I'm currently at RPC waiting for DME wishing I booked any other CL. I'll report when I get home.
Will watch for your report.I can't wait to get to the Innkeepers club next month. I'm currently at RPC waiting for DME wishing I booked any other CL. I'll report when I get home.
was it a bad experience, or just a bad cost/benefit ratio? Our trip was awesome despite any disappointment at RPC. It's all good![]()
Yes to both. It was a great trip despite RPC if that makes sense at all.was it a bad experience, or just a bad cost/benefit ratio?
