We LOVED BC CL last month. LOVED it!!

Urgh, some of these last few posts have me second guessing my choices.
DH and I are currently booked for F&W next month.
We have a split stay between BWI (Water View) and BC (Garden View)
A Standard CL room opened up and I was thinking we'd really enjoy it. The BC portion of the trip is over the weekend and we'll be at Epcot less and the Resort more.
But so many poor experiences make me question now should I just leave things alone.
We really loved our CL stays at AKL and WL. DH has missed the experience our last few trips so I wanted to surprise him.
What would you do? Leave things alone and stay with our garden view or switch? Money is not a huge factor, we can swing the cost but I don't want a sour taste from poor CL experience.
And while I'm asking, are they still serving (vs. self service) the adult beverages at BC? Even beer?

As long as money's not a huge factor and you'd be at the resort a fair amount of time, I'd go with the CL. We're huge CL fans, though, so I'm trying to give fair advice. BC CL has long been our favorite place to stay, even before the renovations. However, since the renovations have been completed, BC is honestly a step above most other deluxes now, IMO. The rooms are very nice, the new lounge is fantastic, the food offerings have stepped it up too. CM's are always hit or miss for us, no matter where we stay....some are outstanding, others are just ok, others really lack.

Thanks great info. I'm having fewer doubts since booking. I know we will love it. I plan to surprise DH but guess what he asked me last night? Are we staying CL next trip. I brushed it off with a no, which is half right since we are not cl at BWI

GF- TODAY. Super excited!
BWI- November, adults only weekend.
Poly- family trip before kiddo turns 3 in May.

So excited, I have booked 2 rooms BC CL for next August. We have never done CL before. I am taking my daughters family and my son's. We set up the two rooms on the BB last month. My question is if we need to switch the two teens in the rooms, one being an adult at 19, do I contact guest service or go through the BC CL cast members? We only had 1 room and 2 adults this past Aug, so when booking the BB we were juggling the family children between the two rooms and I'm not sure this was the most peaceful solution. Maybe I worry too much.

For the guest names I think you need to call reservation line You're going to have a great trip at BC CL

Just back from AKL CL and I am still mulling over how wonderful the vacation was!!
Love AKL and ESPECIALLY love CL. Thanks to this stay I will ALWAYS want to stay CL. Special thanks go to CL staff: Mike, Sam, Teani, Karen and Alissa. Everyone was wonderful but these people were the reason that everything went so well
1. Food was wonderful in the lounge. Dietary requests were met (I had PLAIN yogurt available every AM) and was able to give my grandkids a good breakfast every morning.
2. Fastpass+ was great and we were able to get 4th FPs with no issues by just asking.
3.Room was a little hike from the lounge but good exercise.
4. Thought bus service was inadequate; this is our only source of transport anywhere and thought that busses took too long both coming and going.
5. Underwhelmed by housekeeping: no towel animals, no room freshening at turndown (we took showers before dinner and our towels/ bath mats were seldom replaced). Perfectly adequate but just OK.
6. The staff were wonderful to all kids; my grandkids loved all the activities that gave them a bead.Great education with a nice reward.
7. Would I return? ONLY for CL!!!

Sounds like a great trip! I'm curious about the turn down being missed. Did you tell someone? Did you see turn down ladies walking around to other rooms and just skipping yours? I know it's a bit unusual at AKL since CL rooms and non-CL rooms are all mixed together. That might have been the reason. We had some trouble with it last year too.

You can change names easily by calling central reservations. As long as you don't try to change the lead guest name on each room you are fine. I recommend getting that switched sooner rather than later. You'll want the correct names listed for booking dining, fastpasses, etc.

I need a Poly reservation asap! I want to stay there next year once everything is done. I'm thinking maybe July or August, after my kids finish summer classes. I can't think to much about it right now, I've already got 3 trips brewing between now and then! LOL
