I have been very lucky this year with girlfriend trips. Lauren and Christy said yes in a heartbeat, but I had also been waiting forever for my best friend to join me for a trip. She always felt like she couldn't justify the expense for her and her husband, and she felt like it wouldn't be fair to him to go without him. I'd issued many invitations that she hadn't taken me up on, but then her husband told her she should absolutely join me, so she surprised the heck out of me when she said yes when I asked her to do a
Disneyland trip for my birthday. We had the best time ever, got about a million fabulous Photopass pictures, and loved every minute of everything we did. The best part was that when we got home she said she would be joining me every year from now on for an annual trip. My devious plan finally came to fruition!

We are getting a little bit older and realize that there is no time like the present for all of these moments.
I hope I'll have time to do a trip report, we'll see how regular life swings. Certainly there will be many photos!
I agree about the GF for Christmas.

It is the most magical with the tree and the music and the Gingerbread House, not to mention the special gingerbread smell for that time of year. Of course this is definitely in the category of no bad choices.
