Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

We just got back from our WL CL stay and it was great! I was worried about it not living up to our stays at AKL, but I can honestly say it was just as great for it's own reasons. We were also given one of the "honeymoon suites", which is only one of two rooms that overlook the lobby directly across from the lounge. It had vaulted ceilings and an extra large shower that could probably fit about 5 people in it, but becuase of the way the shower heads are installed, unless you don't mind patiently waiting to share the water, you're better off enjoying the entire thing by yourself. I was even able to enjoy some down time while sitting in front of one of those cozy fireplaces with a glass of wine and my book...it was perfect! And if any of you are going to be staying there soon, please say hi to Hunter and Dawn. They were amazing and made our trip even more special. :thumbsup2
Thank you for sharing! I'll be there with dd17 in a couple of weeks. I am so looking forward to staying at WL for the first time.

You'll love how cozy it feels and you (not your daughter, lol) definitely need to try a geyser grog mimosa. They're sooo good! Have fun!

Yup, the first night there I was up for hours trying to figure out why every time I moved in bed, a few seconds later my bed would start to shake. Turns out when I moved it made my mom's bed shake, so she would roll over in her bed which made my bed shake. We kept doing that to each other all night until we finally figured it out :rotfl2:
I mean, that could be one way to get revenge for every time you were ever grounded 😂!

Sort of OT, but for anyone who is paying full pop for a weekend or other nondiscounted stay this Nov (i.e., before Black Friday sales), I just bought enough 6% off gift cards from BJs to cover my stay. 6% stinks as a discount, but hey, it’s better than nothing. At least now I feel ever so slightly better about my RPC weekend.

ETA: Normally, these are priced for a lower % discount, but they are 6% until early next week, I think.

For those who have been CL on Christmas Eve & Day, are the food services enhanced at all? We’ll be CR Tower Club December 23-26. We’ll definitely want a nice table service meal at some point both days. If they have special, enhanced appetizers I’ll schedule a bigger breakfast/ lunch. If they have normal apps but a bigger breakfast on Christmas morning, I’d like to have dinner at Narcoossee’s, Citrico’s or California Grill. Thanks!!

They did not at AKL or CSR, however, they did have some themed desserts. AKL had a specialty drink.

Thanks, good to know what to expect. Our ADR date is coming quickly so I want to be prepared.
It’s definitely possible others do something, but I only have experience with those two for Christmas. It doesn’t hurt to book an ADR and cancel if you find they do something for the holiday! Have fun!! Christmas in Disney really is wonderful. 😊 Enjoy!

I have Christmas Eve and Christmas booked at the AKL CL and was wondering the same thing. Unfortunately starting to look like we won't be able to make it though.

No, still butter chicken and tomato soup. Mini corn dogs on the kids bar. This is my favorite menu. Somehow in our many, many AKL stays I've never met Fransisco. He has been wonderful. Actually all of the AKL CL staff as been fantastic. Many cast compliments !
Thank you! Hope you have a great trip!

Once you meet Fransisco it's hard to forget him. :lovestruc Since we had such a great time at WL CL, we decided to book one last 2024 stay with our AP rate. We'll be hanging with Fransisco again for a few nights in November now. Can't wait!

I am planning at trip in March 2025. I have a reservation at YC CL knowing that SAB will be closed. There are rooms available at GF CL deluxe king room. I have always have stayed YC CL. Any thoughts? My main reason for this particular trip is flower and garden at Epcot. I have been to Disney many times but I just want to know I am missing anything by not considering GF CL or stay where I am familiar. Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming RPC is a large price jump? If you are okay with no SAB then i would personally stay at YC since it's a F&G trip. Walking back to the hotel after a long day is very worth it to me.

It’s a 600 dollar a day difference so 2400. I love the YC area also. But I am also getting older and would like a different resort at some point. SAB on this trip doesn’t make a difference. They’re always the small pools. And definitely the convenience of the international gateway plus the skyliner. Never been to the flower and garden so that will be new to us. It’s always been food and wine plus either the Halloween or Christmas themes so March will be different. But from what I am hearing from everyone, I am leaning towards staying with YC. Plus I am hoping for a refresh of the lounge plus I like option of the balcony lounge and my room lounge. And I love the rooms around 5227 area overlooking the bay-pool and boardwalk. I am also comfortable with the CM’s in the lounge area so that also makes a difference and they do makes us feel special. I do appreciate everyone opinions and it does help.
