Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Got a call from DSS yesterday afternoon. Left me a voicemail seeing if I needed anything and reminding me it was my 60 days and that i could make my adrs. I actually forgot when I woke up and remembered around 9am. All the CM times for my son was available lol. I couldn't believe how open everything was. I only made that and Yachtsman. I hope I don't regret not booking more for the AC.

Ok just went to make more. I didn't book it, but CRT and le celier was available, as well as numerous Oga's Cantina. Ohanas too. Hopefully the parks will be quiet with all this availability.

We are back from our BWI/Poly CL visit. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again soon. Here are some of my thoughts and sorry it's so long:)

We typically do a BWI/Poly split in the summer with some being CL and some not. This summer we opted for BWI non-CL and Poly CL.
For our BWI stay, we just felt things seemed off. The dining options really nagged us this time. We felt the QS options are few with the BWB being our main option as well as the pizza window. We don't like having to go over to YC/BC for other QS options and really feel like BWI can do better. Our other issues were with the inside coffee shop(needs longer hours) and the boardwalk entertainment was sparse or maybe we just missed it. This is DH's favorite resort but even he is wanting to maybe just stay Poly next trip. We did like our dinner at FF and loved our bartenders. Housekeeping was also great. Of course the location is wonderful and the walk to the parks great so we will see. Maybe it's just us and we need a break or should have CL for our BWI stay lol.

Poly CL was wonderful as always! We always love the rooms, the music, the whole vibe. This is my favorite but may be my DHs favorite now as he loves the patios and relaxing vibe. I don't always love all of the CL options, but there are several things I do like and the convenience is great. Always love the coffee machine:) I wished they would bring back the slippers but that's ok I still have several pair lol!! Plus the CMs were outstanding and so kind. We really lucked out with the weather and got to enjoy all of our patio days. Went to Trader Sams 3 times and had so many Dole whips lol!

As far as BBs go, I wanted to share what we found and if this is not allowed I'm happy to delete. I called from each resort. The BB offer for BWI next summer did not include CL or resort view, only water view. I didn't think the discount was great but booked it anyway and will wait and see.

While we were chatting he noticed we have a CR Resort View King CL. He also applied an amazing discount for us so I wanted to pass along in case anyone wanted to know. This is for April.

I also called today about Poly CL for next June and got a great discount for CL Water View for next June. The price is much better than what we paid this trip and we were only resort view. Just wanted to share in case anyone is interested.

Sorry for the long story. Any questions let me know!

I agree about the BWI food options being lacking. It's one of the reasons I enjoy club level there. The breakfasts are perfect for our family and we usually do 1 sit down a day. Last trip with my family we did eat (and drink) from the carts in between. I actually posted my thoughts in a group and got blasted for it lol. Forget if it was here or somewhere else. This next trip is more laid back so hoping it doesn't come back to bite me lol. Poly I'd my favorite but everyone enjoys the proximity to epcot and HS more.

The CM was referencing a King room on the Tower Club level (14th floor). There are only 2 and they are both TPV, yes even with the Resort View King description.

We definitely love the closeness to EP and HS too. It’s a huge reason we love that area. We didn’t have so many problems when the food cart was there but with the CBS and the corn dog place, it was really noticeable. We even tried a pretzel from the margarita stand but it was so awful we just didn’t go back. Hopefully when some of these places finally open, we will give it another try.

Thank you!
This is what we have booked for April but it has a view of MK correct?

Yes the (2) King rooms are right next to the CL lounge and are definitely MK Views (TPV) and very deep balconies. Room 4911 is right next to the lounge and 4912 is the next room north.

From your post it was not clear to me if that's what you booked or the CM just mentioned it was available.

Oh sorry. Yes this is what we had booked. Thank you.

So what is going on in the area now? I haven't been following the bw thread. I know we had the deli, pizza window and the margarita cart. I know the bakery had been going up forever. They were working on it last trip.

Edited because I figured out what's going on. Everyone kept saying CBS and I was picturing CBS restaurant like at Universal. Just realized it's short for cake bake shop 🤣🤣🤣

I really need summer break to get here.

I like to have Michelle Sparkling after my morning coffee. Straight up or with POG.

Sometimes BWI has this one which I haven’t seen anywhere else.

It was there 9/21,1/22 and 11/23.

What a coincidence! A cast member at the Boardwalk introduced us to Michelle Sparkling - Loved it! When I asked for a glass the next day, they said they were so sorry, but ran out! LOL We never saw it at the Grand Floridian or Animal Kingdom?

I checked my pics and at AKL it was different but I def have had Michelle at GF. They do run out of things and/or have substitutions.

Some CR Tower Club pics..

Hard boiled eggs now come sliced, which I thought was nice.

Morning offerings have been trending more 'accessible' for awhile, more of the same. We begrudged the coddled eggs but the byproduct of that is less 'foodie' things for breakfast, if that's your style. If I had a gripe it would be that there's just not much protein. They used to also usually have some Greek yogurt in the fridge but I didn't see any this trip.

Displays were recently updated to include above lights and heat lamps, not just the heating trays below.

We have stayed WLCL many times but have not been to WL in a few years. This is also the first time we are arriving in the morning - we usually have an afternoon flight. I know the rooms will probably not be ready but will my magic band work in the elevator to get us to the 7th floor? I have done the online check in.

It should, but if not, just go to the front desk and they will give you access. Enjoy! And please take pics. for us! 🙂

Not WL specific but I'm generally running 50/50 with my bands working or not on that first try across the resorts.

FYI, WL CL is one of the better CLs in terms of having a greeter downstairs looking for you upon arrival, so you might not even have to worry about it at all. Have a good trip!
