Our bands worked to open the lounge just now, so we walked in and took some pics. It’s our first time here, so I’m not sure if anything has changed. They worked it so we could keep our same room (we are on 15th floor now, same as lounge).

So pretty! Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to hear your review. I so want to book this for my summer trip but I really want those late evening deluxe hotel hours and this doesn't qualify. I think it should.

Catching up… Do we have anyone staying at WL for opening day? Anxious to see what they have before I visit in a month.

Also very late on pics & such, but BWI was excellent. Staff was great! As has been mentioned, a chef every night and a strong breakfast which included rotating breakfast meats. Really had a great stay here.

CR was ok. The rooms were too small (lots of space dedicated to the big bathroom…and for some reason the giant sofa) Food options not as good as the BWI (looking at you coddled eggs), but alright. Given the price vs others it wouldn’t be very high on the list to return.

YC CL is not scheduled to reopen until January 20th of next year.

Here is the list for future openings which includes todays openings of WL and GDT:

• Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – December 16, 2021
• Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – December 16, 2021
• Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – January 20, 2022 (new)
• Disney’s Beach Club Resort – January 27, 2022 (new)
• Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – February 3, 2022 (new)

Oh man, I did not realize I lucked out like that. We are checking in at Poly CL on Feb 11th. Now I'm even more excited for our first trip! I've been lurking here for a while but I guess I'd better say "hi"! I'm sure I'll be asking tons of questions in the next several weeks.

Poly CL has always been one of our favorites. Another bonus for you to be excited about is that you will have a newly refreshed CL lounge to enjoy!!

we are scheduled for opening day at Yacht Club so will be posting pictures can't wait. as soon as YC got an opening date I was on the computer not excited at all. we've stayed at all the CL except GDT and YC is our favorite. especially the taffy but sadly I think that's gonna be gone

I was checking availability today and saw that Club Level became available for our dates at Animal Kingdom Lodge... so I upgraded us!!
Can't wait to be back in 33 days!!!

We’ll see you there. I booked a weekend trip (Jan 20 - 23) just for YC CL! We normally have dinner adrs but this trip I did them for lunch instead. I told DH I want to try the lounge apps every night.

The coddled eggs get mentioned so much I have to say...When we stayed for the 50th weekend we got coddled eggs every day. I mentioned it to a CM: what's with the coddled eggs every day? Answer: "ALL of the CMs tried them and we just luvvvved them! You don't like them??? They are very popular!!" I think Disney trains them on gaslighting. btw the specific thing I didn't like was that the eggs were borderline raw in the cup. Very liquidy and unappetizing.

In other news, for those traveling end of Feb, be aware that extended hours are reversed the last week in February:

Can’t wait to hear what you think. For some reason they’re not offering it on UK site for next summer but maybe they’re waiting to see how things go when they reopen. Enjoy

Don't assume that the taffy won't be available...at the BWI last week they had their stash of good hard candies, as well as bags and twist ties for "carry out".
