I sat there the other day for a whole half hour before I sweated myself out over to pineapple lanai and went back to the safe haven of my room a/c

Ok, girls! I just went ahead and did it! Booked the GRAND SUITE for a week, followed by a week with family at the King KAMEHAMEHA Suite ❣

Well ok..... we used to have a group here called “the resort changerss”!
And I’m one of its oldest members LOL
DH didn’t approve of both resorts since they’re both on the monorail, and in respective, he’s right.
Wanted me to look into an Epcot resort, since we’re staying at BWI in May, that was out.
His other favorite is the BC CL, he truly loves that resort, the restaurants, its proximity to Epcot, BW, and HS, and their CL.

Can you believe this? The Nantucket Suite, the BCs Vice
presidential suite, a suite I could never nab, was available!!!
Surely, I’d felt like I’d won a lottery!

Hoping I’ll get a chance to stay at the Star Wars hotel when they open, heard getting those rooms will be like the luck of the draw also.

The BWI info thread would know, but for me personally, all of my BWI CL rooms had a balcony.
Some larger than others, but yes, they all did.

Kerry CM will know more.

Yes, they do. Standard rooms could be with a BW view or a garden view. The only guarantee BW view is a deluxe room. You can put in a request for a BW view room.

Thank you! What I really want is 1. any balcony at all, 2. for our room to be ready early. So if they all have balconies, I'll just request the early room. Thank you!

I just cancelled the Poly 1BR suite for 10/10-10/16, if anyone is looking to pick it up. It looked glorious, but I decided having CL access was more important, so I kept the RPC reservation instead.

A bit sad - watched HEA last night and later that night we realized that was our last time we’ll get to watch it live. Seems like just yesterday we watched it for the first time. We had been debating whether to watch it from Poly or go ahead and head to the park (were going to Boo Bash), glad we opted for the park!

Glad other CLs are open/opening, but I’m ready for Poly CL to open pronto. I’m tired of mobile ordering from Captain Cooks, the mess, and the trash! Yes, I know we have other travel options, etc, and I’m mostly just joking / partly just whining…. but I want it back now. Our room was fine and all, but I was reminded just how much I enjoy/find significant value in the Hawaii longhouse location.

I debated switching to AKL CL for this weekend, but stuck with my personal rule that short trip = location/transportation convenience, so AKL didn’t make the cut.

Poly was beautiful as always, great to see more people around and things slowly coming together with the main entrance/monorail station work.

Not sure if Boo Bash is our jam, but that’s ok, not every event is for everyone.
