I have a BWI in September, does anyone thing club level will be back by then? Barring some sort of covid-resurgance (please no...) I would think so, but I'm just guessing as you all are, until Disney actually says something.

Tough question. Personally...2022 wouldn't surprise me at all. I think Disney is gonna be SUPER conservative with restarting CL.

Unless persistent staffing issues, I would be surprised if WDW holds back CL much longer. Seems like they’ve moved on from their initial more cautious approach…

I hope you’re right. I guess my reference to 2022 is that I don’t think the CL experience is gonna be what we’re used to....if it comes back this year. I’m not sure it’ll be totally self service/mask free/full crowd/etc.
Time will tell. I want it back the way it was before!

i would actually prefer it that way. those self serve utensils are only as clean as the last person with norovirus that picked them up. I felt that way long before covid. my wife won't touch them and I will dish out for her but I always clean my hands before eating afterwards. i would prefer a sort of manned buffet where one of the CL CMs just dishes out for you whatever you want. Either that or there is a bin of plastic tongs everyone picks up what they want and then deposit the tongs in a bin at the end so they don't get reused.

Exciting news...at least I think it is?! I am currently in the main building at GF, and it is really looking like they are getting ready to open CL! The first two pictures are from 3rd floor. You can see the plexiglass on the Concierge desks. They have added tables all around 3-5th floors and have even added a lot of four top tables and a few even larger (especially on 5th floor)! The last two pictures are 4th floor. They have removed the sofa seating area and added tables, but they added a couple of sofas...can’t remember if they were on the 5th floor only ? Ask @trishadono lol because she and her DH came over tonight and we made our own CL in the lounge at one of the new big tables...just like old times (minus the orchestra)! I hope this all means it’s really coming back soon! Also, I caught the last of what appeared to be Epcot fireworks when I walked onto the balcony?! I hope this doesn’t post duplicate pictures because my phone is being weird! I took some pictures of 5th floor too but gave up messing with it!

The seating was odd lol. Some of those metal ,outdoor looking ones like by the side entrance of the lobby towards vgf were up there. They are white with green or yellow cushions.

They had a large 2 person chair where a sofa used to be on 5th floor.

There was lots of 2 and 4 person chairs set up on all 3 floors, 3,4,5. Like far more than any number of guests they could have, Maybe sugarloaf will get to use it for food?

The seating was both on courtyard side like normal but also ran along the side and Back wall towards mono side.

Just got home. I need to do Portofino cl info and get over to CR thread with some TPV pix. I’m pooped though!

If you can’t get cL buy your own cake and champagne , invite your friends and zoom/ face people at home

Exciting seeing the tables and chairs set up at RPC. From what I heard, Sugarloaf will not be reopening as Club (not sure how temporary that would be) - Only RPC.

Me too! But I’m pretty sure by the time it opens (with the price increased & no discount for the foreseeable future), I won’t be able to afford it anymore.

Well Disney is still selling 6/4 club level access at Grand CA. Here’s a link to the general GCH thread today. Unfortunately we don’t have any DIS folks headed there for a couple weeks.

For those wondering on post-Covid price changes, I think the $1300/night rack rate ($1500 after tax) is close to what it was before but I’m not certain.

When Disneyland went on sale for out of state, I priced out a November stay and was surprised to see club offered. I took a screen shot just because I wasn’t sure if it was a glitch.
