Thanks. Looks like Disney needs to change/update their room descriptions on the website.

I just looked and that is odd, it specifically does not mention the daybed for CL SV rooms. I figured it was just poor use of commas or something that made it look like that category doesn't have them. Unless they actually removed the daybed, which I really doubt, that's just weird. I almost never pay attention to the actual wording under the room descriptions, I wonder if it also said that last year when 5 could sleep in that category? Who knows.
Was that a deluxe Club level room? I'm looking at those for our stay in May. Kind of wanted to be close to the elevators but also wondered about being out of the actual club itself. Was proximity to the elevators a problem at all? How was the balcony? I've seen pictures of the third floor balconies that are pretty nice, and I know the fourth floor has ones that are a bit smaller, so kind of wondering what people who've stayed there thought about the size.We know one room we stayed in that met most of the bill (2 doors down from the Concierge Desk on the elevator side) but as much as I like Jackie, and the others who man the desk, I don't want to speak to anyone when I wake up in the morning and of course we have to pass the desk to get to the lounge. It was great that the lounge CMs recognized this and let me read my newspapers in peace.
Oops. First world problems, LOL.

And I'm in complete agreement about being a bit uh, taciturn, in the morning. Grumpy even.
Is it true that the breakfast option is now more interesting? (My last CL stay was in 2015).
Thanks in advance!
We have stayed YC CL probably 5 times in the last 2 years. Y & B usually have the same things, so you should see the same things there. Breakfast options significantly improved a few years ago. There is the usual bagels & breads for toasting plus mini muffins, danish & flavored breads. They have hard boiled eggs, a cold meat like roast beef, salami or turkey, cheese slices, bowls of cut fruit: melons, berries etc, whole fruit: bananas, oranges & apples. There are 2 hot options, one of which is usually oatmeal with toppings to add in. Some of the other hot items I have seen are mini quiches, onion tarts & crepes. The crepes have toppings to add: strawberries, whipped cream & chocolate shavings. And of course, a few cold cereals too. That’s what I remember off the top of my head.
I keep posting this photo every time the subject comes up! People are gonna get tired of seeing it.But here’s the crepes. The strawberries in sauce are near the crepes. I added the fresh strawberries & blueberries from the fruit bowl.

I forgot about this til I saw my pictures. Another hot option was the chocolate chip bread pudding with vanilla sauce.

We are checking into WL CL in 35 days. Does anyone know what they offer for breakfast options? Also, do they offer different options for the weekend vs weekdays?

...I’ve read that CR CL food offerings are pretty scant. I generally find that CL is “worth” it for us, but would it be worth the extra to do it at CR as the lounge is smaller and the food is limited? Hubby is eyeing a TPV room either way, standard or CL.
I think that would be true for us as well. I did put in a request at TP for a third floor room due to the balcony issue. My family will have no trouble going up and down stairs for food!Location doesn’t matter to us if we get a 3rd floor Deluxe, having the bigger balcony is so nice especially when all 5 of us are staying.
I wish I’d taken photos! I always love the photos I see on this thread, but I end up feeling silly when I’m standing in the lounge with my phone taking photos of food, lol. I should ask my DD to do it next time. We had a wonderful stay! The CMs were very friendly and helpful. We needed assistance with Magic Band issues (it seems mine never work to open the door to our room) and printing our Magical Express paperwork.Would love to see more trip report info from you as we check in this coming Saturday!!
Thank you so much for the awesome review! I am so glad to hear you all had such a great stay! We are super excited and can't wait to try it out!! We are hoping to fit in a lot of pool time as well since I am sure it is going to be busy with spring break crowds and the Star Wars Rival run! We will be back this summer in June to try out Sugar Loaf. I have a feeling we are going to become quite fond of Club level!I wish I’d taken photos! The lounge itself was wonderful. There was always a very good selection of breakfast, appetizers, and desserts. I wish I could remember more in detail! Our first morning there were crepes! Yum! And the espresso machine! Oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt with different toppings, fruit, cereal. Some meat options as well, but we are vegetarian so I didn’t pay attention to those. I’m having a more difficult time remembering appetizers, but the selection was enough that I was able to make dinner out of it for myself (I haven’t necessarily found I’m always able to do this at other CL lounges, although it depends to some extent on how large/late we’ve had lunch). DD wanted pizza, though, so we walked down the boardwalk to the pizza window for her. We enjoyed the desserts, especially the mini apple crumble pies our last evening.
DD really liked the freezer with ice cream in the afternoon, and there were lots of other snacks as well. Trail mix and chips among other things. No bottled water, but there was soda in the fridge and a water dispenser (as well as lemonade and other juice). I’m alcohol-free at the moment due insomnia issues (alcohol makes it worse) so I can’t comment on the alcohol choices. Everything else was amazing, though! We were able to easily find a place to sit on the two occasions we chose to eat in the lounge, although for the most part we enjoy taking the food back to our room and sitting on the balcony. We were upgraded from standard to garden view and had a very small view of the amazing pool from our room (5629). We changed our plans around our last afternoon/evening to get in as much pool (and Flower & Garden!) time as possible. So glad we did. We’re staying at the BC again this summer and can’t wait. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
In the past, for a little while, CSR had an offering called business class. The new level is called club level, so I think calling it CL means it will be more like the other hotels.
The prior business level opened at 7am (no coffee at 6:30am). They had breakfast- same as all CL's. They had chips + salsa out for the rest of the day. They had a few more items during afternoon/appetizer hour. It might have been cheese+ veggies? I also recall that they had ranch dressing out during appetizer hours. Maybe it was veggies and ranch dressing? I think they also had trail mix or something similar.
They had all the non-adult hot + cold beverages of other CL's. For adult beverages, I recall they had sangria. I think they had beer and maybe one kind of wine, but less variety than other CL's.
I anticipate the new CL will also trend towards the hotel theme of Mexican, but that is just my hunch.
