ABC will broadcast their annual Christmas Parade at 10 am EST this morning. I know it will also be on ABC Channel 7 in the Chicago area this morning at 10 am CST, too.

I adore this parade and can't wait to see it! We are also recording it on our DVR so we can enjoy it again later!

Merry Christmas Everyone!! :santa::santa::santa:

What week in December is the actual parade held? I'm watching it now...WOW!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It was the first weekend in Dec. We were there on Thursday and saw Yanni and Kris Allen performing.

Does anyone else think the sound quality is lacking in the recorded segments?

ita Carol, it is such fun, our family opens gifts while watchng.

Merry Christmas to you and yours :santa:

and to everyone here too :santa:

We also watched it and were wondering the same thing!!

Merry Christmas fellow DISer's!!

I set the DVR to record it this morning. Imagine my suprise and dissappointment when we all started the DVR and the 1st hour was Good Morning America...... I only caught the 1st hour..

Way BUMMED!

I believe ABC was also broadcasting it on their website, so you may be able to catch the portion you missed on there.

This parade is such a tradition for us on Christmas morning. It really gets us psyched for our upcoming trips. Now if they would ONLY bring back the Easter Parade... we used to adore that one as well! :santa:

My 5 year old nephew has been to WDW many times. He was watching the parade & when they had the split screen of WDW & Disneyland, his mom said "look, that is Disney in California & the other one is Disney in Florida where we go." His eyes got huge & he said "You mean there's two of them!?!?" It was our big laugh of the day! Wait until he finds out there are even more than that! He'll want to go to them all!

Oh, the wonder of it all, LOL! :santa:

I woke up Christmas morning at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge at Yellowstone and didn't even think about watching TV (there aren't any there). I had a whole lot more to look at.

Always a Christmas tradition for me. I still loved it but does anyone else think it is becoming more of a Disney Channel infomercial?

Most definitely for the past five or more years.

Actually, that has really always been the case. It is a way for Disney to promote travel to their parks. But, like any good Disney nut, I eat it all up, LOL!
