Now this is an interesting promotion - Disney's version of a Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey, will have a train tour across the country, with interactive exhibits, sneak peeks, etc. before the film opens in November. It starts May 22nd at LA Union Station...

Oh we are going it seems like an awsome time it stops in my state 4 days after we get back from our vacation ..... I will have a busy week:cool1:

Something doesn't jive on the website. The map shows a stopped in Louisville Kentucky yet the schedule doesn't. I hope the map is correct and they forgot to put it on the schedule.

All the cities on the tour are on the schedule. You just need to scroll through it. I think the train is in Louisville 3 days in Sept.

It looks like it will roll through beautiful Central Illinois twice as it zig-zags its way across the midwest--I wish we were big enough to warrant a stop! The Amtrak station is just two miles from my house!

Any opinions on the Philly location? :confused3

The Philadelphia stop is the closest one to where we live. If you Google the address (2955 Market St, Phil, PA) and look at the street view--it does not look like a very nice area. It just does not look like any place where Disney would have a publicized event.

Is this a safe area? It is hard to tell where you would park.

30th Street station in Philly is a safe area. The view is a side street showing the el (elevated) train tracks. I grew up in Philly you will be fine.

Cool - it's coming to Baltimore and to Washington, DC so we have a choice of which one to go to.
