Resort Thread Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH Resort

Did you book a 5th sleeper room? If not, then you definitely won't be in Trinidad.
If I booked a king I won’t be in Trinidad? Just confirming . Added 2 nights to my trip prior to DD’s trip. My dh found a friend who wants to golf lol. He will fly down and golf and leave . Works!

Has anyone stayed in Room 3717 in Trinidad? (It is a Water View, 5th sleeper, accessible room with a roll-in shower, which we require.)
Have all the rooms that were Pirate Rooms been redone as Under the Sea?
We have requested Aruba, but we know it is only a request.

We really need 2 beds, not a bed and a sleep sofa. Any idea how we can make that very clear to the "room assigner" other than simply requesting Aruba?

They do have 2 beds. One is a Murphy bed, but that is a regular mattress just like on the other bed. It's not a sleeper sofa.

Thanks. You don't happen to have a photo, do you? ;)

Just what there is on the Disney World page and other pages I'm not sure can be linked here. The bed set up for the 2 main beds is along the same lines of Pop and the All Stars and the new arrangement for Studios in the Villa resorts. The Murphy bed is a regular mattress just like the others.

So, like BWV, I assume. Thanks a lot!

Popped in for a quick 2 night stay. Didn’t get to resort until after 2am. I forget they leave the lights on in your room when you say arriving late. At 1st I thought someone was in our room.

It was warm unfortunately. I do know how to override the AC so at least by morning is was cooler.

We got the 5 th sleeper. I feel like the room is decent sized and just enough storage for a family.

I usually stay at deluxe with Keurigs and forgot the cuisinart coffee pods are not as good. Just remembered to use 2 pods for one cup and it is better,

When I ordered a snack yesterday I mentioned I was happy to be back, it was my 1st Disney resort many years ago and sorry If I'm acting confused we arrived to late. She handed me the drink cup I requested and she said it was free from her. That is the kind of thing Disney continues to do. Sometimes a little sprinkle of kindness is what you need.

We are in Barbados 31. Our friends are at Riviera and I walked there and back twice yesterday. Got in 25000 steps😅

The walk itself wasn’t bad. We sure are lucky. For September I did not suffer doing that walk midday , it wasn’t as humid as I am used to this time of year.

It is a lovely resort and I was glad to try it again after many years not being back. However I just moved my oct trip to CSR Destino tower. Oddly the GP,discount was better than a BB for those dates. I emailed my TA and had her check. It’s nicer to do that so you not on the phone on vacation.

Lastly I liked the food set up. There was a small room with grab n go items and to order everything else was pretty easy with a decent sized selection. Don’t forget you can see the menus online or in the APP. I like to look prior to a trip so I know what to expect.

I transfer to POFQ today and meet dd. Dh sadly is heading home.

I’ll post more about FQ and hope for a new remodeled room.

Any q’s I will try to answer.

Anyone know if Pool Noodles are allowed in CBR pools? I know they are in other resorts, just didn't know if that's an across the board WDW policy or if it's resort-specific.

Allowed in any Disney resort pool? Technically, no.
Are they tolerated within reason? Yes.

Ahhh. I guess, over the years, I've read SOOO many posts about people using pool noodles, leaving them behind for others to pick up from the laundry area, etc that I just *assumed* they were "permitted". I've never actually brought one on any of our many stays but I just pulled one out of our own pool to dry out and figured I'd ask before actually packing it. Thx. I'll just leave it at home. Not worth the risk. Given my luck so far this year I *would* be the one singled out by a CM and read the riot act about how they're not allowed.

Love this. And yes! "a little sprinkle of kindness". In a world where (IMO) anger and rudeness is on the rise, the *little bits* of kindness are HUGE and appreciated all the more so!!

Maybe I missed it, if so I apologize.. Does anyone have a picture of the September activity schedule? Thanks! :)

Does anyone know how many King Beds per building? I have to book 3 rooms and I would really like to stay in Jamaica Bldg 45. For my dates, Feb 1-9, standard and water view are not available. Clearly, if I want to stay in Jamaica, I don't want to choose Preferred or a 5th sleeper room ....so that leaves me with King. I would really like to keep our 3 rooms in the same building, if possible, and was hoping for #45.
