70 days! I can hardly wait. I do think I will change our Jamacia request to Barbados or Martinique. If I phoned in and requested far from smoking areas, should I call in and change the country or just wait and do it for online check in in 10 days?

Just and FYI, we have a smoking area close by our room, I have never once saw anyone there or smelled smoke. The only 2 times I saw smoking was walking around the path around the lake. They have benches and a smoking deposit fixture. Even the 2 times someone was smoking, it was just one person and you can walk furthest away from the bench and you probably wouldn't even smell it.

Question about paying in full--I made a payment yesterday and my confirmation email said that final payment can be made by phone or by mail. Does that mean I can't make my last payment online?

Does anyone have any confirmation that the pirate rooms are being refurbished? New beds? Etc....Has anyone seen them or gotten confirmation from a cast member? We're going in November and I am really hoping the pirate rooms are being redone, but I can't seem to find any hard evidence.

We always do all our payments including the last one online. Shouldn't be a problem.

I got that same message when I paid my final payment and so I called CBR. They said don't worry it showed up on their system as paid!

Sigh, that's what I'll really miss in November, walking over the bridge, through the island, and enjoying all the tropical music.

You can certainly hear it throughout OPR.

One was a band sticker. The other was an image sticker... Both of which can be found under "magic band" if you search on etsy.

Those are cute! One of my daughters has always decorated our bands. My hubby loves his band from last Christmas so, he is going to reuse it. She tie-dyed it for him. Mine was white with Christmas lights and somehow I am thinking that won't work in September. I ordered a Give Kids the World skin for mine. All of the proceeds go to GKTW and it ships for free. I figured I could help and be cute at the same time this year.

I only hear it in one place, as I walk past the marina area. I have not heard it anywhere else around the resort all week.

Hi! We have our first stay at CBR starting next weekend. Quick question, which may be silly...do they provide any sand toys at the beaches? I was debating bringing a few from home but my DH thought that was silly. DD (3) has never been to the "real" beach as we have always just done Disney, so I know she'll be excited for some sand play... Thoughts? We have plenty of luggage space as we can each check 2 bags free on SW. Thanks!!

beach toys also double as great bath toys for little ones! I'd bring a couple small items.

Are children checked for their height at the under 48" water play area? will he be able to go in if he's just a bit over 48", say 48.5"?
