On one visit we thought we had it figured out re: when a bus returns from x they use entrance y, but that did not hold up for long. It does seem rather random. Perhaps the drivers are told which one to use according to traffic patterns/volume? Or maybe they just use the one they like?

I think that you are right. A lot of times, on the ride back to the resort from the park(s), the bus driver would be told what destination to head to next (I know this because we could hear the message being delivered to the driver.) One driver told us that they don't have a specific route that they drive over and over again all day long. They are given their instructions as buses are needed at certain locations. Sooooo, that would mean that there really wouldn't be any rhyme or reason to which entrance they use. Did that make any sense at all? It does in my wee little mind. o_O

Yeah, it does. Disney has a pretty sophisticated GPS based dispatch system that is constantly moving buses around the property according to demand. Perhaps the entrance they use is determined by the best exit for their next destination? That makes sense to me.

Have an amazing trip Lisa!!!! I'm so so happy it's your time to go! Because......

After your trip my time flew and I'm almost 3 weeks earlier this year. lol

I would love a pic of the Jamaica 45 building in relation to the bridge, if possible. I would love to have an idea of distance. Also......ANYTHING ELSE!!! lol

Here now!

Used Touring Plans to make my room request. Ground floor Jamaica. And got it. They will make the request for you if you are a subscriber.

We were an hour out of Orlando when we got the text that our room was ready and we could bypass check in. That was nice.

As for the resort? Completely in love. Could be my new favorite!!! Kids are loving the pool, the food court is so much easier to navigate than AoA, and it's just so pretty. And peaceful.

We are hitting the road tomorrow around 1:00 p.m. and starting the first leg of our 14 to 15 hour drive to Walt Disney World! Of course, we are staying at the CBR again. I am anxious to get a first hand look at the "new" rooms as they had just started the refurb when we were there last May. Although I have pictures of almost everything already, please feel free to put in requests for additional pictures. I'll try my best to take them during our two week stay.

I will also try to find out more about the pirate room refurb and the changing out of the washers and dryers in the laundry facilities.
I hope you all have a great time and drive safely!!

Here is the web address of the new laundries in Disneyworld. Put it in your phone and you can watch the status of your loads from poolside. http://classic.laundryview.com/disneyworld/
I just went and looked at the website. That is very cool! I wish they would have had that in December. Oh well, they have it now. If I ever get to go for an extended time again it will come in very handy! Thanks CTPacky!

How long will yall be there?? We will be arriving on June 7. Have fun!!

Hey everyone! Count us in with the group who jumped on the release of more free dining this week. We were booked for FD first at Sports, then changed to POP and now have finally landed at CBR, couldn't be more excited! We will be there Nov 9-14 in a water view room.

Finally got pics loaded and have time to write down our thoughts.

We were really happy with CBR. We were in Jamaica 46. It was super close to the bus stop. We spent a lot of time at HS for SWW stuff, and Jamaica was always the first stop coming and going. That was great! There were actually only a couple of times that it was not first...AK for sure and I think MK was a mix. We only waited a while once in the afternoon (for HS, and it actually was long enough to mess up some FPs, but we survived). And the internal bus for checkout was a bit of a wait. All in all, I was impressed with bus service.

We were also very close to OPR. I was able to walk over in the mornings, fill 4 water bottles and get a coffee, and walk back to the room in 10-15 minutes. The main pool was great! ODS and DH also liked the quiet pool. ODS had fun playing at the playground and the beach. He got sand pails from dinner at OPR. In fact, we ended up with four by the end of the trip. They gave them to us even when I ordered meals without them.

We had the privacy sign on all week, but MKing left a bag on the door with fresh towels, tp, tissue, and toiletries a couple of times.

The pnp was set up next to the door, in front of the connecting door. I moved it into the bathroom, and it worked well. It came with an extra sheet, but I had brought one from home for familiarity. Overall, the baby slept fine. Having the sliding doors was nice. I think someone asked about using a bathroom elsewhere. The quiet pool bathroom was locked the evening I tried to use it. I did stop at OPR a time or two after park before heading to the room, but we actually were able to use our room toilet. Since the baby had been asleep for a while, we had a sound machine going, and the toilet has a separate door, it didn't disturb the baby. He is usually a very light sleeper, but by the third day, he was so exhausted, nothing was disturbing him - toilet, tv, ODS with his lightsabers and blaster gun. Much to our relief, one room was not a problem!

Here are the pics of the pnp. In the bathroom, assuming all are the same, it slid right under the safe and iron holder, so be sure to remove the iron and keep the safe closed. It doesn't interfere with using the second sink at all.
