Quick comment on the coffee. The water is sometimes what makes the coffee taste "off" Hubby is a real coffee snob and to make sure he could get at least one good cup a day we brought his coffee and a coffee press. Picked up a jug of water in the store (can't for the life of me remember what it's called and i'm too lazy to check) heated that up and poof he had his own coffee. As a special treat he also bought some of the flavoured creamer when he got the water. You can get a Bodum (Aka coffee press) for around 10-20 depending on how fancy you want it.

I'm assuming the answer to this is 'yes', but if you want to grab something to eat while lounging at the main pool, do you need to go inside to the food court?

We are so excited to stay at CBR for the first time in just a few weeks!

Crazy, inconsequential question - does anyone know if Cherry Coke is one of the options at the fountain in the food court? I know I had Cherry Coke at POR but a lot of the other resorts we have been to (All-stars, etc.) have not had it.

Just wondering!

Can't wait to explore CBR!!!

On the first page of this thread, mickeystoontown posted a pic of the different fountain drink options. There is no Cherry Coke.

I Think we will be bringing our own too, we home roast beans. I prefer the pour over method of brewing though.

Did you all bring an electric kettle or run the water through the pod machine?

ALSO as an aside we will be bringing our own alcohol too-to add to our refillable mugs while the kiddos play in the pool. I love me some vanilla rum and root beer.

That is completely incorrect. You can make room requests any time from the day you book up until 4-5 days prior to your arrival. They assign rooms 2-3 days prior to arrival so just make sure they are there before then.
I just got off the phone with a very nice CM who added my request. Don't know what the deal was with the first gal, but this guy got it taken care of without issue! Thanks for letting me know to try again.

Hi. We are a baseball team coming in tomorrow.

How much do the washers and dryers cost. We will be doing a lot of laundry every day.

Cant wait to get out of moserable weather. Snowing now in New York!

From page #1 of this thread.

Laundry facilities are located near each of the village quiet pools. To gain access to the laundry room, you’ll need to scan your Magic Band. At this time, it costs $2.00 a load to wash and $2.00 a load to dry. If you do not overload the dryers, your clothes should get dry with just one cycle. Heavier clothes or large loads may require two drying cycles.

Change machines are in each laundry room but there is talk that they will be changed to the type of machines that take credit cards. Some of the resorts have already started making the change-over.

The pricing on the detergent, fabric softener, etc. is in the pictures.

You're welcome. No need to be sorry. I just like to point out how much information is on the first 2 pages so people new to the DIS reading this will know to check the first page or 2 of these FAQ Threads. :thumbsup2

I am really upset about the coffee maker. I live in Michigan and have to have my Tim Horton's coffee and was planning on bringing some with me! You would think Disney would have provided a standard coffee maker!

Unfortunately, only the family suites, the cabins of Ft. Wilderness and DVC Villas have full size coffee makers.
