Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

Was this the quiet pool? Were they painting the building that has the bathrooms or working on the pool area? What do you mean by "pool one"?

Thanks
It was the main clown pool where there was construction. I meant the scaffolding by the boardwalk area was not as loud / active as the scaffolding by the clown pool. Hth

There are three pools at the Boardwalk, a quiet pool on the BWI side and a quiet pool plus the main pool on the BWV side.

Thanks for the clarification. I totally read what you wrote the wrong way.

Yes, I believe you can use all three pools. The quiet pool on the BWV side is right next to the Community Hall, so there always seems to be more people at that quiet pool, but it is never extremely busy.

Mexi--just saw the list said you were celebrating 20 years. Congrats--our 20 was in June along with DD's high school graduation. Busy year. Ready to celebrate. 18 days!!
Congrats to you on your 20th and to your dd on her graduation. It definitely sounds like you are ready for a celebration. Enjoy!:goodvibes

Thanks for the information. We have gone in January for the last 7 plus years. So, I imagine in July everything will be more crowded than we are used to.

I have not received anything regarding construction going on during our stay, but we have a stay Aug 14- 20 and I'm seeing posts on here about construction. We switched to BWI from Wilderness due to the construction on the CL lounge over there. Can someone please tell me what all is under construction at BWI? We planned to use the pool.

Thanks!

Hey all, construction got me worried now. We are staying in garden room club level. (the little cottage) July 17-23 Should i be concerned about construction? Lived through home renovations ugh what a nightmare don't want to even see construction on vacation lol . Any input would help. Thank you for the time to read this and reply. On a side note I called and cast member said no construction by the garden rooms.

After staying at BWV this past April for Epcot's F&G Festival, we're staying at BWI for the F&W Festival from Sept. 21-25. We thought about staying at a moderate, but because we'll spend most of the trip at Epcot, we decided upon a Crescent Lake resort. BWI had the best rate for the dates we looked at.

They are done on the Inn side so enjoy your trip. The cottages always seem like a great idea during the summer months because you are just steps away from the quiet pool.

We thought that the Quiet Pool on the Villa side was very quite and not crowded at all.

The Main Clown Pool would get crowded in the early to mid afternoon, but the late morning crowds were very small. There was always plenty of spots, shady and in the sun.

I have made ressie for a garden cottage for next March. I use an ECV for distance but can still climb the stairs and definitely want to stay there while I still am able. My concern is having photos that show the paved path to the cottage narrows after it passes through the gate. My concern is whether it is wide enough for a small ECV. I called and was told yes but was not certain that he really understood what I was asking. "The doors are ADA compliant" doesn't quite cover it, I think. Thoughts?

Thank you for the information. I actually prefer the quiet pools so I'll check out the villa pool. The Inn quiet pool is lovely.
