Question about CL...someone on another thread mentioned beignets being offered in the mornings. Is this true? Anyone have a recent menu of appetizer offerings? And any special non-alcoholic beverage? (Like the cranberry lemonade at WL CL). TIA!

Just back, loved our 2 night stay in a 1 bdrm standard. Got the last room, down the long hall. We did not mind, in fact the walk to DHS was really nice. I also walked to Epcot one night for the fireworks, it is a great perk to make that decision less than an hour prior to the show!
I enjoyed walking along the waterway instead of the inside hallway most of the time. Hope to stay there again soon.

seriously what planet do I live on???? I booked our trip on the same week as our school vacation week! I had no idea as I don't have kids. I was wondering why the airfares out of Boston were so crazy and some one told me at work yesterday! So here I am just about 60 days out and now I think I'm going to change our trip to the week before. It will save me over $300 on airfare and I can still get the BWV for the same price at Orbitz. I'm going to need to start over from scratch on my ADRs At least I hadn't gotten to FP 60 day make quite yet.

So is there anything going on 4/14-4/19 that I need to know about?

Easywdw has both weeks as 5s, so it shouldn't be too bad, but saving $300 in enhange for remaking your ADRs is probably worth it. I guess even on your old week, though it's the MA break, it's not a break for other northeast states or near florida, so it might not be crazy if you didn't move. I think either way will be good.

How long did it take you to walk to HS?

I'm guessin if they were in the last room, ( which is closest to HS ) then it was probably a 7 - 8 min. walk or so..Nice...

That's too funny, but good that you were able to get lower airfare and in theory, lower crowds to go with it

I don't recall a special non-alcoholic drink, but maybe they've added one since my last visit. And, I've never heard of a CL serving beignets, only croissants.

I would request quiet pool view, upper floor. Assuming you are able, you can use the steps to get down to the parking lot and bus stop area quickly. If you have a stroller or can't take steps, you may want to request first floor.

Hi! I am so excited to be going on my first Disney cruise for DH and my 25 anniversary trip!(Fantasy Oct 31-Nov 7) of course I can't visit FLORIDA without stopping at my favourite place in the world! I've booked us 4 days at WDW and decided to try BWI for the first time! I've always wanted to try this resort and thought this would be the perfect time since food and wine wil also be on during our stay. I've booked us a club level room at the Inn, dates are Nov 7-11. I would really love a boardwalk view from my room, and would prefer a room that is fairly central without any extra-long walks! Also we'd love a king bed room. I'm tired enough after walking in parks all day without a long walk to get to my room at the end of the day! Any particular way I should word my request when I email IPO as I've never stayed here before and am not sure of the layout.
Very much looking forward to my first stay!

I think the hallways get a bad rep at BWV, but I find the walk shorter and much more pleasant than the walks from the bus stops at the value resorts (All Stars & Pop). I don't care for the walks at OKW to HH. The walks were long at SSR, but the bridge over the water from the Paddock to the Springs was ok.

Being inside the AC hallways is nice on a hot or rainy day.

Last time there, we were in room 5001, which is the very last room with a boardwalk view. The first trip with the luggage was kinda annoying, but after that, it really wasn't all that bad.

We're getting some family photos taken during our vacation and they'll probably be taken at the Boardwalk as that's where we're staying. I know my photographer will have some ideas on locations but if anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear them so I can get an idea of what locations I'd like as well.

How long did it take you to walk to HS?

I'm not really sure, maybe 10 min, but we enjoyed the walk. We felt that this was more enjoyable than walking the other direction to catch the boat.

Hi! Hoping for some advice on a BWV 1BR Standard View Room Request. I tried to make the request through Member Services but they told me there was no such room category. I now only have "high-floor" in my reservation. I had hoped to get the end of the building near the parking lot facing Epcot. Like 4115 or higher? What should I ask for?
