Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

Great to hear, DD19 loves potato and tomato (their previous soups) so I was hoping for them. Then I read on here that it was beef with barley and she was less than pleased. She's good with clam chowder though, if we have time to stop for a cup! (Super quick trip,as always, thats how we justify going so often)
I totally get quick trips! I am the queen of 2-3 night trips ;) My DH will be thrilled with beef with barley though. I hope they still have that coffee cake, man was that yummy!

Even tho it's 306 days away I am so excited to be back home April 24 to May 6th!!! Our last visit was in January for our DGs first trip. We used our points for a standard room and got upgraded to a 1 bedroom! It was such a great room overlooking Luna and also seeing the fireworks from HS. Corner room with a large balcony. Love everything about this resort and CANNOT wait, will just keep reading all of your posts as the anticipation is almost as much fun (almost......) As actually being there!

Has anyone used International Gateway at rope drop today or yesterday? Wondering if Frozen Ever After has changed our happy little entrance!

Well we have been here since June 21 and we love it. It has bumped GF to our second favorite. Thinking about purchasing DVC at BWV, is it as good as BWI?

Glad you are having a wonderful visit to the BWI! After a number of trips to the BWI we splurged on a week in a 1BR at BWV and thoroughly enjoyed it. In our view just as nice as the BWI.

Our last stay at BWI club level was four years ago. We really enjoyed it and are looking at staying again next month. My plans to go to Disney in May didn't work out. Anyway, can anyone update on the club level lounge over the last several years. Can guests pour their own wine and get their own beer or do the cm's do that now? We really enjoyed our experience at club level (stayed twice) and even missed it while staying at RPC. So any updates would be appreciated.

When were there this December 2015 they had cast member your glas of wine. But you get the beer or sodas. It is just the wine they have to pour the the wine.

Ok, thanks for the response. I prefer to get it myself but its not a big deal. The CM's were really nice both times we were at the BWI and it looks like some of the same ones are still there after reading up a bit.

Kook I forgot to ask can you put us down for next June 30-July 9 2017. Thanks!!

I poured my own wine in August of 2015. I promise I was well behaved, so if they changed the practice, it wasn't my fault!

We're getting so close -- 5 more days! As usual, I'm thinking about every detail and now I'm wondering if we'd rather have a 3rd floor room (we're staying deluxe room CL). I requested 4th floor near lounge, but now I'm thinking we'd rather have a private and larger balcony on the 3rd floor versus a not-so-private and smaller balcony on the 4th floor. Has anyone stayed on both 3rd and 4th floors and have an opinion? Thx!

Almost to our little taste of BWI, 1 night before our YC stay. Does anyone know current pool hours? We are only going to be at BW from 9:00 pm- 10:30 am, so will swim whatever hours are open out of those! Have to find out if it is love or not love the clown slide for us!
