We have the option of switching from the BC, standard view room, over to a standard view room at BWI. I have never stayed at BWI so I have no idea what to expect from a standard view room. At the BC, I know there's a very good chance that we're going to get a less than desirable view does the BWI have decent standard views or are there just as many not so great ones like the BC? Would appreciate feedback from those who have stayed in a standard view room at the BWI. TIA.

We have gotten some beautiful and relaxing views staying standard at BWI.

Boardwalk view is a bookable category on DVC points but not thru CRO. To try and avoid the luggage area a request for a pool view or else away from the elevators should increase the odds. In DVC bookable categories, which there are three at BWV, the rooms overlooking the luggage area are standard view since they look out towards the drive up to the resort.

FYI - We were on the 4th floor this last trip, right above the luggage area. We had no noise over there unless the door was open. I was also pleasantly surprised how quiet it was with the Magic Express buses coming and going - we didn't hear them unless we were outside.
