Disney's "Blam" is just awful! What were they thinking?

I just ran across this article about Disney's "Blam" episodes. I assume they run these in between shows. Why can't they just show the cartoons?

Whenever I'm babysitting, the kids usually have DC on. Everytime I see these come on I get all excited, "oh yeah, an old Disney cartoon!", and then "what is this crap!?!?"
