Anyone there now??? Is it really busy???

We are t-13 days!!!! woo-hoo
Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay:

Not sure how busy it is right now, although reports have been that LoF isn't a long wait. However, during your stay it will become packed as LM is opening a couiple days after your arrival to a full house and many of those people will have FD. However it shouldn't affect the parks as it is still "low" season. Have a great trip!

17 days for us. We are going THIS month to WDW!!!!

We not only got the box that was shipped but also the many note cards with money in them for the kids:) They love getting the mail

So excited!!! Just saved my company $$ and get more Disney time - and at AoA none the less!!

I'm heading down to WDW for a weekend break with DH (in less than 2 weeks :thumbsup2) staying at YC then off to the Villas of Grand Cypress for work related stuff (boring :crazy2:) BUT the conference cost only covered 3 nights accommodation and I need 4...well it was going to cost nearly $200 for an additional night at the Villas+ the cost of Mears shuttle back to MCO sooooo in a genius move I switched my last night to a Little Mermaid room at AoA (for $100 less) and I get free ME transportation back to MCO...:cool1:

Im so pumped to check out this new resort...I hear the LM rooms dont open until the 17th and I check in on the 20th so hopefully i'll get a brand spanking new room...Cant wait to see what the pool area looks like..the rest of the resort looks AMAZING!

Actually, the Little Mermaid section opens on the 15th. Have a great trip!

Whew!:scared: We check on the 15th. I was afraid something changed and I hadn't heard......

Does anyone have any new LM pics, any of the pool I really want to see it, I figured with the opening being two weeks away more pics would be up:confused3

a friend of mine was just there last week and said they still had it blocked off so couldn't get very close...can't wait to see them too, even though we are over a year out before we stayed there are so excited!

I know! I'm dying! By the time I get to see pictures, we will be leaving in 10 days. I can't believe how soon it is! I feel like I'm going to pop! LOL

We are looking to go around March 2-9, 2013. We've always stayed in the All Star Movie resort and always enjoyed staying in a room that faced the largest pool area and was near the dining facilities. In the AoA, it appears that the Little Mermaid section is the only section that holds standard room (and that appears to be one of the farthest from the pool and dining facilities). Is that correct? Is there any other sections that will be opening up standard rooms later? Thanks!!

I am thinking about booking the LM rooms for May 25-31. Should I go ahead and book, then modify if a special offer comes along? Or should I wait until the Spring offers come out? Since it is a new resort and offers may not be available for AoA, I am leaning towards going ahead and booking now.

I would definitely book now if your heart is set on a LM room.

Yes I posted a few pictures on the AoA picture thread earlier today. I took them through the fence. As far back as it was, I couldn't see the pool at all.

To be honest, I kind of wish I hadn't seen every detail ahead of time. By the time we got there, it was somewhat anti climactic. "Yep it looks just like the pictures." On the other hand, DS 14 had asked me not to give him too much information ahead of time because he wanted to be surprised. His reaction was :0

Little Mermaid is the last section to open, and the only section with standard rooms. It does have its own themed pool.

No only LM. But they will have drink dispensers by the pool.

This is the second post today where I've seen someone mention the speculated drink refill station in the Little Mermaid section. Did we get better confirmation there will be one?

Last place I left it, I was thinking the section needed to open before we knew for certain LM would have its own drink station. Until we get some first-hand reports, I'm leaning toward there won't be a drink station, sorry. :(

When I called at the end of July to pay our balance, I asked about the drink stations. She said that they were told there would be a satellite drink station near LM pool. I know that info from CM's is not always reliable, just sharing what I was told.

I would be bouncing off of the walls if I were you! :thumbsup2

If you really want an LM room and you're sure of your dates, I'd book NOW. LM seems to be the hot ticket in town!

We're not sure if this is true, but I sure hope you're correct. It would be wonderful if they did that and maybe they will since LM is the furthest away from everything. Let's just keep hoping! :goodvibes

I really do hope this turns out to be true when they open the LM section. Even if the walk to the main hall isn't as far as it looks on a map, it'll still be nice to have drink refills by the pool.
