Don't know if anyone can tell me, I will be staying in LM , but not till Oct 2013. What are the mattress's like? If someone knows can you share?

LM isn't open yet but good things have been said about the beds in the rest of the resort

Any runners out there who have visited this resort & pop and can let me know a good route for a morning run (@6-8miles)? I am not there until mid December, but staying through marathon and need to keep my run schedule! Also, I have stayed at Dolphin and Coronado and used the gyms there, is it permissable to use another resort gym - has anyone done that? And if so is it a pay by day or can you do a length of stay? Thanks so much for any help in advance!

Stayed in Cars 9 nights - very comfy...stayed at a random Daytona hotel last night...not comfy!

So excited to be staying at AofA in a Cars suite 11/22-11/25 before moving over to BC for 6 nights. I just realized it's only 99 days away I always get so excited when we get under the 100 day mark, seems to go much faster
BC is where my heart is but I'm really excited about stay at AofA it looks AMAZING!!!!

The Little Mermaid standard rooms don't open until September, I believe.

I think that is a great idea!! I would love to find out how many DIS peeps are staying in AoA in LM rooms in late November.

Then that's what we will have to do. We'll have a Nov. AoA LM or a Nov. AoA Thread.

Yes, it's two floors, but they are good with the 'handicapped'. They put those of us rolling around on wheels on the first floor near the main building. Merrily we roll along



You are so lucky, we couldn't get FD. But, I'm just happy as can be that I'm going! <------ No, I can't really jump up and down like that, but my heart and soul are. LOL

In the suites, both bathrooms have showers.

All buildings at AoA have four floors.

There is a poolside bar called The Drop Off in the Nemo section, if that is the kind of cocktail sipping spot you're asking about.

One more question I forgot...

We're three middle-aged (but young at heart) adults.

We'll be there 9/26 - 10/4 and will be spending most of our time at the Food & Wine Festival.

DH and I enjoy watching kids, especially at WDW. We're the kind of people who will go to a Sat matinee to see a new Disney movie because the kids add to the fun of the movie.

My DB has seen what the rooms look like on the website and is psyched for that. But he a confirmed bachelor with less patience.

Will he feel overrun?

You mean overrun by kids? I don't think he would feel more overrun at AOA than he would at any other Disney resort. There's lots of kids at Disney. If he's ok with that, then all should go well.

The thing is, in 2010 we stayed at a Treehouse at SSR and 2011 we stayed at a 2BR villa @ OKW.

Compared to those two places, I imagine AoA will have lots & lots of tots.

Thanks for the count, BWM! I just checked on my Disney site reservations and found out that we are now 101 days. I had no idea that we were so close to the double didget dance! Yay!!!!!
