I am excited for ASsp now! I just had no idea what to expect but after reading this thread I feel better. Excited to see the new food court too. We are staying in the preferred surfs up in June.

I thought so. I hope they don't ever do what they did to ASMo and make most of the resort Preferred.

we were told once..that if the corner of the main bld was like 500 feet to the resort bld...then it was a preferred...

SO at Pop one year...(we always pay for a preferred) and the bld was to the left of the main check in food court bld...so that was a preferred bld..so we go to this and up to the top floor and then around the back of the bld and we were facing the parking lot ..we were so far from the main bld that we finally went to the front desk and said ..what gives...
we got a room in the right section then..

Now there are preferred blds and pool view preferred blds...in some of the resorts..

It's best to call anytime up until 5 days before you arrive and add any requests to your reservation.

You can do online check in 60 days out. However, the room requests during online check in are predetermined and very limited. That's why the preferred method is to call and have them added to your reservation. You're not limited to what you can request.

You're not being annoying. You can call anytime from the day you make the reservation up until about 5 days before check in. I usually make my requests when I make the reservation.

The food court pics looks even better than I expected. I'm glad the murals are gone. Can't wait to try it out in Jan.! Looks like the arcade will be open too.

New food court is awesome! I'm sure arcade will be back in no time
