Are the family suites usually included for discount rates? It seems like a few years ago they were excluded, and I wasn't sure if that's still the case.

Yes, Family Suite are included in some discounts. We are staying in one in November with Free Dining.

We're booked for a family suite & plan to arrive before noon. I know we can activate magic bands & go on to the parks. We will be notified when the room is ready. Do we leave our bags in the car or do we leave them at the desk to be delivered to the room when it's ready?

You can leave your cell number to receive a text when the room is ready but it's not a perfect system. You probably will get the text but there is a chance that you won't.

I would leave my bags in the car. That way you have them immediately when you get into the room. You can take them to the luggage room but why bother.

I left there this past Friday. AS of then, the food truck was still there for the breakfast hours. If you're facing the building from the bus stop area, it's on the left side of the main building. If you're facing it from the pool area, it will be to your right.

I didn't pay much attention other than seeing the sign on my way through the building as I brought my breakfasts with me and ate in my room as I was getting ready.

Thankfully yes, the WDW recalled fridge replacement project was completed earlier this year. It did take a really long time....
