As long as you realize you are staying at a value resort, you will be very pleased. We have stayed at AsMo in the past and will be there again in September. It is very well laid out and there is plenty to do. The rooms are clean, spacious and functional. There are 2 pools, an arcade, gift shop, and even a quick service food court on the resort! It is decorated perfect for little kids (that's why we keep staying here) and I found it pretty neato too! I've never had any problem with my requests not being honored and the CM's are always very helpful. Hope your trip is all that you want it to be!

We are excited to stay at AsMo but coming from stays at CSR and BWI... Are we going to be disappointed?

Can someone please clarify the pizza offer, when used with the dining plan? It is 2 counter-service credits, right? (Not table-service credits) and comes with 2 drinks and 2 desserts? Is it carry-out only? Room delivery only? What are the dessert options?

We always do this for one meal: It's carry-out from the food court - if you have it delivered, it's 2 table service..so totally worth the short walk, lol! Pretty sure there's a line/window just for pizza and the choices are standard cheese, pepp or sausage. They give you a pager so you can sit down & buzz you when ready. Don't think anything's changed, it was still the same at Pop/AoA last fall...

ETA: sorry, desserts - it's standard cs desserts, depends on food court. I seem to recall cookies, choc cake and maybe getting grapes as one too. There's probably a more complete list if you look up the food court menu.

1) Does All Star Movies have any kind of jogging trail?

2) Do the rooms all have refrigerators inside of them now? I have been reading two different things during my research.

Disney describes there is a 1 mile long jogging trail connecting the All-Star Resorts. I'm not exactly sure what they are referring to -- it may be using the sidewalk on Buena Vista Drive as a place to run, which would work. So all value resorts are supposed to have fridges in them now, however, we're in the midst of a defective fridge issue affecting resorts across Disney properties. Disney intends for your ASMo room to have a working fridge in it...when they can get the bad ones all replaced, which is going to take months.

Thanks to EpcotBill, we confirm that the jogging trail is the sidewalk adjacent to Buena Vista Drive, which is a main road.

I know JCARWASH is tired of me asking about these new refillable mugs....
but.... I had read on another thread that someone had sighted the new colors (orange, green and purple) for sale at All Star Movies. Can anyone that is physically there right now confirm that the refillable mugs are indeed orange, green and purple? We check in to A0A in 2 days and I will travel anywhere on Disney property to get a purple mug. I already own a yellow, 2 pink, a blue and a black one. Time for something new.

Yes, there will be outdoor movies, but the monthly schedule isn't released until the first of each month.

No, all the ASMo rooms are the same size regardless of location in the building.

When we were there in December 2011, mugs can only be used at resorts. I don't think it's changed.

No, carry-out is 2 Counter Service but they also offer delivery of the same meal which is 2 Table Service. In other words - walk down and get it, lol!! The delivery is *much* better advertised around the resort so it's easy to get confused. Mugs are kinda confusing right now too - You can NOT refill your mug anywhere in the parks for sure but as for resorts - maybe? The new RFID mugs are refillable at any resort but no one's sure exactly when the system is going online.

I don't know if this has been answered already but we are at ASMo at the moment and there are purple, orange and green mugs available!
