I need to know is the All-Star Movies has outdoor Entertainment like All-Star Music?

Does anyone know......We will be driving down this time. If we get there sometime around lunch and check-in is at 3 (or 4) will the hotel let us use the swimming pool while we wait for our room? We don't want to go to the parks that day.

Ive never stayed at ASMO but several other resorts and they all had a locker room where you could change and head to the pool. enjoy

I have stayed their a few times and haven't seen any entertainment. Maybe they added some recently.

We will be at ASMO form June 18th until June 29th. I can't wait. this will be our fourth time staying at ASMO. We have stayed at Pop and POR with our children and they all love ASMO the best. It is so great for kids and adults too. The theming is awesome and the kids can relate to it all.
We have stayed at a Mod before and althought he room may be a little bigger, it doesn't matter to us. We are only in it to sleep and rest. It's not a big deal and not worth it to us to spend the extra money, I would rather use it on an extra day.
We stayed in the Preferred sbuilding (Fantasia) at ASMO once and we were actually further away than the non preferred room the second time. So i will never pay more for Preferred.
It is a great resort and I can't imagine anyone not loving it.

I agree, but I don't know any reason you couldn't just walk or wheel across the parking lot to Music for the activities. We walked over there just to look around. We also took the bus back to Music from one of the parks because their bus came first. Seriously, the resorts really are all that close.

1.) I rented stroller thru Orlando rentals, they said the stroller could be picked up in ASMo luggage room. Where is that located?

2.) I read in some of the previous posts that check-in lines were crazy long, can you give me an idea about lines when we arrive on a Wednesday around 4pm?

I am trying to be as prepared as I can as I will be traveling with a 22 month old and a 5 year old (and a hubby who get just as cranky as them )

#1- When you check in, tell them you have a stroller waiting. They will take care of it. Our was delivered to our room about 1/2 hour later.

#2- We checked in at about 5:30 on a Tuesday night. Of course this will vary with time of year, but we only had 1 person ahead of us in line. Several times we had to got to the front for various reasons and there was usually no more than 1-3 people in line. There is a little "theater" with seats & a movie/tv playing right in the lobby so our kids sat there with DH while I checked in. It went fine.

I have a question about the microwave in the food court, mentioned on the first page.

I was thinking of heating up a few items for our dinners at the resort, maybe one of those SMALL frozen lasagna's.

Do they frown upon that type of cooking in the microwave?

Is there a long line to use the microwave?

I have never seen more than a couple of people in line to use the microwave, however i have only observed this at breafast time, usually before 8AM.

I think you can do that with no problem.

I am trying to save some money since we could fly now instead of drive! I am planning on some of my meals there too.

Can't wait to try ASMO. I really enjoyed my stay at ASMU.
