We are in the process of becoming DVC members and wondered if we could get the 14 day unlimited disney pass from DVC that we can currently get through travel agents in the UK.
Virgin are quoting £183 for this pass for an adult.
I don't think you can, but you can get $100 discount on an annual pass. This works out at about £185 for the basic 4 parks pass, dependant on exchange rate.
Alternatively look at different ticket sites for the 14 day pass. I have seen them cheaper than Virgin are charging. £168 on this site http://www.orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk
It's worth shopping around as it can make quite a bit of difference to the price.
DVC don't sell disney passes although you can get a discount on Annual Pass.
However, the price you quote from Virgin seems an awful lot. Have a browse on the internet and you will find lots of ocmpanies selling passes much cheaper!! We always buy online and have never had any problems!
Yep, the 14 day passes can only be bought in the UK. To be honest, the cheapest I found them was on the disney site http://www.disneyworld.co.uk They were cheaper there than they were from travel agents and even from the Disney Stores.
As for proving your residency? Not that I know of...but I've not used them myself yet (Going in May). However, I can say that in the past we've never check residency when we've sold them *shrug* Sorry I can't be more definite.
We have used www.orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk
for all our 14 day tickets. We are now Annual Pass holders as we have managed 2 trips in a year and this makes a big saving when including the DVC discount.
