Hi everyone,

My DH and I plan to go to WDW Nov 06 and are interested in DisneyQuest. Is it worth the extra money?? What do you all think? Also, can I add the DisneyQuest to my package when I make the reservation? Oh yeah, can Cirque tickets be added to my package or do they have to be purchased separately? Thanks in advance for the advice!! :flower: :flower:

I believe it is worth it at least once. The interactive games on the bottom floor are awesome, especially the pirate game (forgot the actual name), it is a 3D experience for the whole family! The video games and other activities are also alot of fun, including the elevator ride when you enter! :earseek:

the first time we went to WDW my DH took the boys and I skipped it as I am not a big video game fan..but last year when we went I figured i'd give it a try..i had a good time! Lots of variety. My favorite thing to do was take the character drawing classes that they offer...they teach you how to draw a different character like every 1/2 hour. Oh..and I also liked making and riding a VR roller coaster! And..making my own music cd...and the Pirate ride is really good too!!..yea..i guess I had more than a good time!! I'm not sure if you can add it to a package but usually ticketmania.com offers discount tix..I think i got mine for like $21 or so. It was alot of fun but if I had limited (our trips were 8 and 10 days long) time I'd rather spend an extra day in the parks!

My DH and I love DisneyQuest ... I find it a lot of fun and very relaxing. I think you will enjoy it. :sunny:

DisneyQuest is a 'Plus' attraction. So, if you get the MYW with the plus option, you could use one of the 'Plus' options for DisneyQuest.

Cirque Du Soleil tickets need to purchased separately.

DisneyQuest was part of our package last year, and after spending a brief amount of time in there (all we had spare), we wish we had more! We got to make our own virtual roller coaster and ride it, then we did the Pirates of the Caribbean 3-D game. There were so many other floors and activities, but it was our second to last day, and we were on our way over to Adventurers Club, so couldn't stay. I totally would recommend it!

My family also likes Disney Quest. It does get crowded as the day goes on. Try to get there when it opens. You can get alot more "play" time in.

We like to go there after we have had a late night the night before. We can sleep in without feeling we missed anything because it doesn't open until late morning.

Last time I was at DisneyQuest was 7 years ago. At that time, we had a game card included in our package. You just put your card in the games and it took points away or something like that.

But now you pay admission and play for free????

I went last year and yes, the games were all free, you didn't need to put any sort of card in them or anything. I enjoyed it, my favorite was the virtual jungle cruise. I laughed so hard I started to cry as I watched my friend nearly fall out of the boat.

DS 7 and I love it, would go if it was 2 x the money - luckly for us ticketmania has them for sale at a good price!

Have fun!

If I purchase the Magic Your way tickets, can I go twice into DQ, or can I only use it once there.

We'll be there in November with extended family - we'll have 4 boys (ages 9, 7, 6, 3) and one girl (5) in addition to parents and grandparents...is it worth it for the younger group?

You can visit as many times as you have plus options.

I finally caved in to my DS & we visited it on a Saturday - big mistake

Didn't open on time (waited in line half hour or so)

Many rides weren't operating, Pirates of Car., animation area, Sid's make a toy (said they were out of service).

Crowds were horrible before Noon...longer waits than @ MK; such a disappointment; except for Pirates (which finally opened @ 3:00 p.m. with an hour wait). We totally gave up on the bumper car rides after waiting an hour. My DS, who is a gamer, never wants to go back...of course, I have 4 plus's leftover.

The worst aspect was the free video gaming area...adults were monopolizing the games for long periods of time. Think when they're so busy the machines should be on a timer (15 min?) to allow everyone a chance.
