DisneyQuest, Wonderworks or Ripleys...

Hi again

We are still mulling over ideas for our last day.....

Of the three places in the title could I have some feedback as to which might be the most interesting/exciting for our girls (8&6) please?

Still undecided what to do on our last day but thinking that perhaps a day 'indoors' might be the easiest option

DisneyQuest might be alright for a few hours on your last day, don't dedicate time to it in the middle of your trip though, it's an interesting concept but it just doesn't work IMO, even the cast members looked like they didn't like it there.

My teenage son would live in Disneyquest if he could. perhaps you could pop in there if you are in Downtown Disney during your holiday to see if it would be worth a last day visit. one advantage is that it's lovely and cool and the shops and restaurants are near if you get bored. havent been to the other places you mentioned.

my 'kids' (aged 27 and 25) adore disneyquest and have as long as it has existed (i can't remember how long it's been there)..

but i'm not sure how much there is for little kids...
i have to go read up on Disneyquest to see what there is for little kids...
i think they do have stuff there, i just can't remember..

we've also been to wonderworks - about 8 years ago i think....my kids really enjoyed it and i think little kids would enjoy it as well...

it's sort of a science museum sort of place - very hands on....my kids have always liked that sort of thing..

Are there any activities for younger children?

On the 4th floor there's a section devoted to games for children ages 2-7. Young kids would probably enjoy the Create Zone the most -- there are plenty of hands-on activities there that appeal to all ages, like Sid's Create-a-Toy (based on the evil child from the original Toy Story film who liked to make toys from the parts of others). However, most of DisneyQuest's other attractions seem to be best for approximately ages 10 and up. Also, please note that strollers are not allowed inside and the environment can be very loud -- toddlers might quickly become overwhelmed.

Do your wdw tickets include DisneyQuest? Most of the UK tickets (ultimate etc) do, which could be a saving over the other two options

Well I guess I'm in the minority lol! Maybe because I'm not into video games generally anyway, I did enjoy the virtual Space Mountain though.

Ive been to all 3 and I've asked my teens which one they prefer and they love Disney quest. They have loved it since the age of 5.

Disney quest is included if you have the uk Disney ticket. Many floors with free arcade games for all ages, make your own music cd, drawing classes, virtual games and more. We spent hours here, as mine are older I let them go off on own and come find me later.

Wonder works was fun and I did enjoy it but it something ive done and that's it don't think it could offer me anything different. My children did like the science stuff on offer, very hands on and they did learn a lot.

Ripleys believe it or not was a let down for me, the one in London is much better personally. Also once you have been to one then you don't really get much difference at others. Mine 2 were bored in 5 minutes.

We got back last week and spent our last day at Disneyquest - having never visited before and not being particular fans of video games, we were pleasantly surprised at what was in there.

It doesn't open until 11:30, so we went there straight from our hotel.

We also booked a cheap room for the same day so that we could have a shower, get changed for our flight home, and repack our cases. Cost us £30 and we booked it on-line whilst at OKW.

I enjoyed Quest but after 4 hours in thier i felt really sick, it was way to hot in thier. Once outside i felt ok, i think it was to many games that did it.

Cant speak for the other two, but as far as Ripleys is concerned, as PP has said, if you have done one, the rest are VERY similar. I wouldn't really recommend for pre-teens either, a few fertility symbols that may lead to some awkward questions.

If you staying on property, stick to disneyquest, otherwise, do the one nearest to you.

On my last day in January, I visited Ripleys as it was walking distance from my hotel and then spent (wasted) a few bucks on the games upstairs at the McDonalds around the corner from there. Combined a couple of hours used up while waiting for the cab to arrive and take me back home to reality

Wow, thanks for the replies

We have basic AP's so DQ not included.... We went there when the girls were really small and it did not appeal to them at all. I am thinking that the age they are now, they might just love it for a few hours.....
