I know very little about this place. Going in a few weeks with our kids 15, 11 and 7. Is it worth a trip?
Thanks!

We have premium annual passes and DQ is included on our pass. In 2003 DH and DS went every Friday night for a couple hours. Daytime is usually the best time to go, nights can get crowded. Rainy days are super crowded. DQ has THE BEST hamburgers on property. Not to miss games are the buzz lightyear bumper cars, the POTC, virtual jungle cruise, and the human pinball game. Any questions, PM me.

My family spent the whole day there in June. My kids 7 & 8 loved it. I think it would be even better for teens. There are a few things the 7 year old might not be able to do unless he/she is very tall (Buzz blast ride, Cyberspacemountain... maybe some others)

I have older kids, but saw all ages there. My kids didn't want to leave. There are so many age-appropriate things to do, and it was funny that with all the super-modern games they had, my sons were glued to the old-fashioned arcade games. I found myself a seat in a nice leather chair with a computer terminal in front of me on a coffee-type table, got a cup of tea and a piece of cheesecake, and logged onto the Dis while DSs did their thing!

What time does DQ open?? Anyone out there know for sure? I have seen conflicting hours.

Thanks for the help :D !

We weren't planning on going here, but on our last day we found ourselves at Planet Hollywood using that 25$ gift certificate option that comes with the packages and we slipped in to DQ for a quick look around. My DD is 6, so I thought it wouldn't be a lot of fun for her, but she really enjoyed it and we could have stayed for a lot longer if we weren't so tired. The virtual rides are a blast! I think for some of the rides a child has to be 51" (my daughter was not), but she had alot of fun on the computer drawing tasks, music room, Alladin's carpet ride, and a virtual whitewater rafting ride. We basically only explored 1 and 1/2 floors while we were there and we would have stayed longer, but it was getting late and we were pretty tired. We went on a Saturday at about 7:00 and the crowds weren't to bad inside DQ. It was very hectic, however, getting out of DTD at about 8:30 and the DTD area, in my opinion, is not real appropriate for kids at night.

Where was the place with the cushy chair and cheesecake? I went with my kids last December and had to leave because I don't like games and I felt claustrophobic (rainy day and a mob!). If I go back, I want to go where you went!

Where was the place with the cushy chair and cheesecake?

It was on the 4th (I think) floor. There were no games on this floor, only chairs and coffee tables with computers on them, and a nice cheesecake/dessert shop. There were lots of parents relaxing there, it's easy to fall asleep there, where it's quiet and dimly lit. Look for it next time!

Couple of quick Disney Quest thoughts:

1) We went on a Friday night four weeks ago, and I was stunned at how light the crowd was on a Friday night. We were able to do everything with almost no wait. (It was the Friday after Hurricane Jeanne, but considering that six days had passed and DQ draws in a lot of locals, I was very surprised.)

2) Arrive hungry. They have very good food there. The counter service food was better than most of what we found at Magic Kingdom. I had a Jamaican chicken wrap. It was very good. Plus, there are several great restaurants nearby. If you want to eat somewhere else, you can put your name in, play a few more minutes at DQ, and leave later before they call your name.

My DH and I have an annual pass that includes DQ and we finally went to check it out last night and it was a blast! I can't wait to go back when we have more time. Also, we were there about an hour before closing on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded at all. If we enjoyed it that much, I would think kids would LOVE it!

I think it is open at like 10 or 11. I can't wait to go either. When you go, play the Mighty Ducks Pinball. That is a real workout. Lol.

Aisling--thanks for the info about the 4th floor. I won't hesitate to take the kids to DQ knowing that is there!
