Well, we're back from the the most memorable Disneymoon ever! I cannot believe it's over. 3 weeks ago today we were married in my beautiful church, July 17th and on the 18th we left for the happiest place on earth, WDW!!!
My mom had gone down a couple weeks b-4 the wedding and brought back the Mickey groom hat and the Minnie bridal ears with the veil!
Well during the last dance of our wedding my Mom put the hats on us and we took pictures! They came out so cute!
I cannot wait to go back and renew my vows at Disney for our 10 year anniversary
Well, on with the trip report....
We arrived at the boardWalk Villas around 4:00, and that's after going to the grocery store to pick up items for the week and grabbing a bite to eat at Jungle Jim's.
My Mom is a DVC member so she got us a beautiful 1-br suite....with the preferred view! IT WAS AWESOME!!! After checking in and getting to the room we had 2 special deliveries..one was a basket shaped like Mickey and it had crackers and cheese, truffles, a bottle of champgne, and champagne glasses with frosted mickey heads on them! The other special package was a plate full of tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries!! They were so yummy...we nibbled on those all week! We checked in on Sunday the 18th and were leaving for the second part of our DisneyMoon on Sat the 24th!
Our first day was Epcot and we got tons of pctures everywhere with our Wedding Hats on! Scott was such a great sport! We got an extra ride on Test Track. i couldn't figure out at first why they asked to exit a different way than everyone else..and it was to take another ride...how cool
I got to ride Mission Space for the fist time! It was good, but my expectations were allot higher...sorry
I was a little diapoointed at first when the ride was voer! Those single lines are awesome! Scott cannot handle the motion rides so i went on alone! Whoever thought of those singles lines was a geneous!
We had lunch at the Tepenyake (I don't think I spelled it correctly, sorry) Dining Room! Excellent as usual!!! We got a free dessert with 2 sppons..it was a type of ginger cheese cake I think. MMMMMMMmmmmmmm, that was a nice surprise!
Second day Daytona Beach and we wish we wouldn't have gone....Did the character breakfast that morn at the Yatch/beach Club! Highly recomend..it was excellent! Got some great picts again with our wedding hats on..lots of attention too, it was wonderful!
Wednesday, Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios..time is runnign out so we had to do 2 parks in one day
Animal Kingdom was great..a hot day of course, but that's OK! We slipped on our sandals and cooled off on the Kalhi River Rapids!! Scott almost didn't want to put his sandals on and I explained how your feet get really wet and there's nothing worse than touring the park with sougy socks and sneakers...spoken from experience!! well, he was glad he listened to me ab/c there were other people on the raft with wet shoes and socks...
Now it's off to MGM..took the bus from AK. Had dinner at the Sci-Fi
and got more great picts...our waiter was awesome he wouldn sing this funny song when he was about to take the picture! Excellent! We were in the back seat and took a cute shot of us kissing with our wedding hats on
Thursday- USF...another really hot hot day...Scott's getting a little crabby....but that's OK! Got to ride the new Mummy ride, which Scott stayed cool in Finnegan's Bar! Another quick line in the singles line...that ride was so cool, of course not as good at Rock n' Roller Coaster, but still excellent effects!!! So glad I got to ride it!
Friday-our last day already MK! I always save the best for last, but then it makes me so sad to leave i don't know why i do it to my self...Got some great picts again in front of the castle with our wedding hats on...too cute! I bought one with our hands cupped and tink in in our hands, too cute
We got to the front of Buss Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin b/c a CM saw us with our hats on! The line was really long too! A couple let us go ahead of them on the Winnie the Pooh ride b/c of the hats. Everyone kept saying congrats all week and especially, "Too cute". I almost think they likes the mickey top hat better than mine...maybe b/c they don't expect a man with tatoos on his arm to wear somerthing like that, you never know! he wanted to make me happy and Disney makes me so happy! And for years I ahve been going there seeing people wearing the hats just waiting for my turn! And there it was and I was sure to soak it all in and enjoy every minute
Lunch in the castle (on the hotel b/c of the roach in our room..has that happened to anyone? I ahve going here for years...and I have never seen one in my room
Delicious of course! I just love eating in there.. They had decorated our table with streamers and Mickeyfetti!!! And they gave us a gift, 2 Cinderlla's Royal Table champagne flutes! They were beautiful!!!
Got more great picts in the castle and with Cinderella...I got on of just Scott and Cinderella too
I just didn't want to leave and of course I was teary eyed when we were walking out of the MK! I made sure to tape ourselves walking down Main St. with the castle behind us!!!!
It's such a magical place and I cannot get enough...
Even though we were leaving for Aruba in the morn the next day, it's just not Disney...it's not the boardWalk Villas, ya know!
Don't get me wrong Aruba was wonderful and beautiful, but I LOVE DISNEY WORLD!@!!!!!!!!
I'll write another report with the Aruba details if you would like! i jsut wanted to get the most important week on the Trip Reports! I am already counting down the days until i return! My Mom and I are the ones who come down every year in July, but I think we just may have to let Scott tagf along too, if he wants to.....
