Disneymoon!!!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on these boards in forever so I just thought I would tell everyone that I am getting married nov. 8 and will be heading down to disney 12/15 to 12/19 for a disneymoon!! I am so excited! we are staying at the AKL in a standared room. Thanks to DIS was able to book the room for 170 a night, which greatly excites me! I made a large payment last week and just found out that as a wedding present my FH's parents are going to be paying off our honeymoon!! This left we with enough money left over to purchase Circ tickets! We have ADRs at Sci-fi and at Capt. Jacks at DTD before Circ. Anyone have any other suggestions of things we should do?

First off, congrats on your upcoming wedding! Make sure you treasure each moment you have on your big day because it GOES SO FAST!!! I did a Disneymoon as well and in doing so, got my DH HOOKED on disney! We saw Circ and all I can say is try your hardest to get front row seating. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, but the front just takes your breath away, especially with the part when a gorgously sculpted man takes flight above the stage on nothing but red silk ribbons suspended from the ceiling (just don't let your new DH see the drool haha)

I would say definately make a date for Illuminations. It is amazing and with your newly wedded bliss, it will be euphoric! Stop and ask CM to take your picture A LOT! Its your honeymoon and you don't want pics of just one of you or have every picture from the same angle as who ever has the longer arm try and hold the camera out to get you both in the same frame. There isn't a CM out there who won't snap a quick pic for you, especially with a great backdrop behind you!

And lastly, get the just married buttons and wear them every day! You never know who is going to see them and just sprinkle some amazing pixie dust your way to make your disneymoon even more magical. You should be able to get them from the Check in desk or at any guest services in any park.
