Which would you do on a Saturday?
and
Which would you do on a Sunday?

(in October)

PS - Is it still swimming weather there in early October?

It is swimming weather!!!

As far as hopping, I personally would hop back and forth on both days. It's super easy, it's really not like changing parks, it's more like walking a little further to the next rides!! And this way you don't BURN precious hours waiting for CA to open and instead of wasting the time after CA closes, you hop back to DL.

IF you really do not want to hop, my choice would be Saturday at CA and Sunday at DL. But since hopping is so easy there, I don't know why anyone wouldn't!!! (Unless you absolutely could not get a hopper ticket, or had 2 free 1 day tickets) It would have to be a weird circumstance to make me not go to both in the same day!

Forgot that hopping back and forth gives you freedom to leave a certain park when it gets TOO busy, but still take advantage of it's less busy hours. And it also lets you hit some favorites again in the other park on the second day that you wouldn't be able to if you didn't hop!!

We never dedicate a whole day to either park. We go back and forth whenever we feel like it. It works well for us.

Hopping is the way to go with the entrances right across from each other it's super easy. If you do want to spend a day at each park I agree with DCA on saturday and DL on sunday!

I agree, park hopping is the way to go. I would spend some time in DCA during hte peak afternoon, but spend the mornings and the evenings in DL park. Its that DCA isnt as crowded as DL park in peak afternoon. It would make things a bit easier. I did just that when I was there on a weekend and it was perfect.

Do DCA on Sunday.

There's geek groups that kind of "take over" Disneyland on Sundays, because the cheaper annual passes allow them in Sunday and not Saturday.

JMNHO.

Saturday is Early Entry day at DL. If you have EE privileges, you should start Saturday at DL. If not, then starting Saturday at DCA and starting Sunday at DL would be the best use of time.

However, it is really hard for us to go to DLR and not spend most of the first day at DL. So if I were in your shoes I am not sure what I would do.

Finally, I agree with everyone else. You should spend parts of both days at each park and plan to hop. So the question is not so much "which day at which park" as it is "which park to start the day at before I hop".

hey now...we are all geeks when it comes to disney...and we go every day of any given week...I personally like Sundays because it seems less crowded than a saturday..but this trip I have to deal with saturday crowds because we can only get my gd out for 2 days of school max!! Im gonna die I just know it:faint:
