Cool! We were there for the 50th... on the prep day when Disneyland closed to the public to get ready for all the celebs that evening. Then, we were there on July 17th and received our gold Mickey Ears!! An hour before park opening, the line wrapped through DTD... we got in line near Jamba Juice. It was such a great day filled with lots of great experiences!!

Happy 59th anniversary to Disneyland! Still the happiest place on Earth :goodvibes

I'm excited about the new stuff coming for the 60th. I loved the Alice in Wonderland update, so hopefully the rest of Fantasyland will get similar attention. Also excited about the possibility of a new nighttime parade and fireworks. Hopefully they'll announce something big during the 60th. Since the attention has been on DCA for quite a long time, it's been a while since DL's last big attraction.

I can't wait to have more details about this celebration!

And the logo is awesome!

We were there for Disneyland's 55th anniversary and we were at the Magic Kingdom on July 7th 2005, for the 50th anniversary's Happiest Celebration on Earth!

Love the logo! I wonder when the celebration begins? Spring 2015 is pretty open. Wonder if it will be going by late March?

How long do these celebrations usually last? We are thinking next fall and I would hate to schedule a trip after all the special fun has ended.

We'll be visiting Disneyland in Sept 2015 for the first time

I believe it will last for the majority of the year. Rumors are new night parade, fireworks, and more. Those types of things stay for a long time years usually so that you wouldn't miss.

I was there for the 50th anniversary and it lasted from May through September, although key merchandise of the celebration was limited to just a few months.

Any additional stuff (new fireworks, new parade, nighttime show, etc.) will probably stay for a few years.

My wife and I are planning a trip right now for Spring 2015. This trip will be extra special for the both of us since we will be taking our 2 year old twin boys for their first Disney trip ever. As much Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that is watched at our house they should feel right at home. (Too bad they don't do the hotdog dance at DL) :cool1:
