Does ANYONE else remember this special from 1985?? I have been trying in absolute VAIN to find a copy of this lost treasure ANYWHERE! If you don't remember it, this was a 2 hour special directed by none other than JOHN LANDIS and fetaured a horde of famous (and not-so-famous) personalities celebrating the parks 30th B-Day. Among the notables were:

David Hasselhoff: Singing and wearing black leather if I recall.

Julian Lennon: On Main Street singing "Too Late For Goodbyes"

The Pointer Sisters: Singing the Nuetron Dance

John Forsythe and Drew Barrymore riding PoTC together...

Donna Summer: Singing "She Works Hard for the Money" with Cinderella (classic)...

Mindie Cohn and Kim Fields, Harry Anderson, Julie Andrews and a ton of others.

if you remember this show please let me know and if you have a copy stashed somewhere I'll pay you for one!

I remember watching this :cool1: way back then. One thing that sticks in my mind was the facts of life girls going on PoC. Was this after they made the politically correct changes? Cant remember....

Anyway, one thing I remember about the show was someone talking about not selling chewing gum in the magic kingdom. I remember thinking, WOW didnt know that. :rotfl2: I was a disney dork then too
