Disneyland....

We're thinking of heading to Disneyland for our next Disney adventure - can anyone share some of their experiences there - things we should be sure to see, room type requests, etc.?

We are thinking of heading there next summer and are going to try for GCV -- other then that, we have no plans yet (From a person who usually has her next 2 trips to WDW planned in detail this is a bit scary)

I would love to hear from those of you who have been and what you think are the important things to know about.
