Anyone else get these?? I don't know when our next trip will be. and I am bummin' big time!! We went for Thanksgiving. and it would be really awesome to go for my bday in May but I don't think we will swing it.

My dd is even having withdrawals. SHe is going to be six and is saving all her chore money for Disneyland. Every coin she gets its going for DL. She even plays CM at Disneyland. Now that one is fun, and soo cute. we go on rides. Her favorite right now is Dumbo and she takes our paper feathers.

She has been planning our days for our next trip, and I gotta tell ya she does a really good job.

wahhhhhhh I want to go NOW!

Yes I get them. Check out my signature. :lmao:

Since you're right there in CA, please please tell me that you have APs so that you don't have to pay more for the tickets when next you go (inside the year). Or that you'll consider it on your next trip? :flower3:

(that's the only reason I could go for this last trip, b/c there were no tickets involved, well, and we had SW credits to help me get down there)

WE DONT!! I want them badly.. oh so badly. My mom just moved to SoCa this past year so I want to get the AP's either this year or next so we can visit her and stay at her house (hahahaha gotta love moms) but maybe stay onsite one or two night so its not soo much money.

I wish we were closer then I wouldn't have such a huge withdrawal.

All it took for us to upgrade was realizing that our proper vacation's tickets plus just a one-day ticket that we knew we would have later in the year (my brother lives in San Diego and likes to have us visit) would cost more, total, than a deluxe AP for each of us.

Then you look at the discounts, and then the possible hotel discounts and it becomes amazing.

Also, did you know that having an AP gives you a 20% discount at the HoJo's on Harbor?

Raising hand...me! We just got back 11 days ago and I'm already planning our next trip in May and trying to sneak another trip in with just dh before that.

I get them as soon as we leave.:sad2:
Plus, it helps that I am always planning a trip....even if it is quite a long wait. It seems to help. Being on the dis helps, too!

I also get them as soon as we leave... I usually start planning for 2-3 trips at the same time for different times of year... lol...

I know how you feel. The last 2 years we had AP's and went several times but I can never get enough trips. And since we had AP's I wanted to get my moneys worth :). Of course I get all kinds of groans from those who don't get it but I figure you can NEVER go too much ;) . Our next trip is in 3 weeks and I am ALREADY sad because after THIS trip we probably won't go back for a year and we are going to go ahead and let our passes expire and won't get new ones till our next trip. I know I will go through MAJOR withdrawals because usually we go every 4 or 5 months and we haven't gone a whole year in a LONG time. But the hope is that we are going to go to Disney WORLD in November if finances work out so we WILL get a Disney fix in there between the DisneyLAND fix though.

I am really bummed though because we have been planning our Disney World trip since we got back from our last trip in 05 (we can only afford to go every 3 or 4 years) and we had our timeshare booked this summer but then with the economy we thought we were going to have to cancel. Then with our tax refund and this possible rebate I thought it was back on and then my dh got laid off this week so now it is back in limbo. I am SOOO bummed. Just last week I thought it was back on and now this week I am not sure again. It depends on how long this lay off lasts. UGH! Plus it makes our trip to Disney LAND in 3 weeks really hard. We won't cancel cuz the money for that is already set aside but it is going to make it REAL hard to enjoy it cuz who wants to spend any money when you are laid off. Plus it is for my daughter's 16th birthday and our 9th anniversary and this is ruining it! :(

I sure hope things start to look up!

Sorry for the threadjack but I know how you feel. Disney is always the one thing that brightens my spirits and when I can't go or don't know when I CAN go back it makes me sad.

Try 1100+ miles. I know there are many people further, but an eight hour drive would be pleasure, we could do it once a month if we did not have to work virtually every weekend.

I begin to suffer from withdrawls as soon as we're on the plane headed back home. :lmao: I'm hopeless.

I get withdrawls! I swear Disney is a serious addiction. We were just there in September & December and I've been talking about going back since. I think we'll be able to do at least one more trip this year - maybe 2 - but I think they'll be shorter weekend type ones. But even a day down there is worth it to me.

On a side note - are you in the city of Sonoma? I live in Sonoma County also, although not in the city of Sonoma.

:rotfl: You know your a Disney fan when???? :rotfl:

Yeah the withdrawl is awful!!! I feel it the moment I have to leave the park for the last time at the end of the trip when walking passed both parks, into the bus loop toward the cross walk on Harbor etc and all you hear is the Disney Music being piped in. Its like Cruella Duville is about to hit me with her crazy car and the pain is intolerable. I always tell myself "Dont look back, just keep on walking, try not to think about it" all the while I am screaming inside.

I have to put myself in the mind frame that "I AM COMING BACK" and now that I am at that point, every time I see a Disney Vacation commercial on TV I start to bawl.

It's only been 2 1/2 months since our visit with Mickey and I'm feelin' the Mouse blues bad. Working on my trip report was fun, but of course, it isn't near as good as being there. Now I'm editing all the video we took, but it's just making me wish I was back in California again.

We're not going back until December of 2009, so I've got a very long wait ahead of me til my next sprinkle of Pixie dust.

I have been suffering awful DL withdrawls, and especially now that we have had more snow than usual here in Idaho.

When we moved up here, we went at least twice a year. That was hard enough going from our go-when-we-please days as APers to twice a year. Now we haven't been in over a year due to business reasons. I haven't seen Christmas at DL in 2 years. It's just killing me and the kids.

I just keep reminding myself that I have been a lot of times, that this situation is only temporary, that we will get down there this fall hopefully.

You can imagine my horror at going to So CA for a business function last June and not being able to go to the parks. It was blasphemy!

On a side note, dh could go back to work down there. I do not want to move back (no offense to anyone, just personal preference) but the idea is so incredibly tempting just for DL alone. There are people who commute from here down to LA...

I too am suffering..........my ds11 is on student concil and they limit the absences they can have by half the normal allowed. No mid year trip fo rus this year:scared: . We are stuck going the afternoon of the last day of school! Yes I cry at the commericals too and am planning what we will do as if it was tomorrow we were going. I got red Mickey luggage for Christmas waiting to be filled and taken to DL............I am not even taking the plastic off till I can pack. The dis is my support group but unless I have a trip date plan it upsets me to read any of the posts.

Ach... My heart aches for all of you...I'm already dreading how fast our trip will come and go. It seems like time is dragging until we can finally be on our way, but I know the 4 days are going to whistle on by in a blink.

oooh I am soo glad I am not alone!! OOh and the tears start to build in my eyes when I see the commericals as well. My dh thinks I am crazy. Heck yes CRAZY IN LOVE with DL. hehehe

I don't know what i would do with out DIS here. It would be very hard. We dont have a date set for our next trip, but if we dont get a date soon I don't think I will be the only one in the house that will explode. DD was asked if she wanted to have her 7th birthday at DL, and she said NO...wanna know why???

ITS TOO LOOOOOOOOOOONG TO WAIT! HA! I have to agree. Her birthday is on the 7th of Feb! so another HOLE year to wait... I dont know if I could handle that one.

I want to go down in May for Mothers day/my birthday. We will see...

I had my first shift back at work last night, and I am hoping that the extra money will go to our DL fund. I have dreams of walking down Main ST at night... anyone wanna join me there tonight???

Oh boy do I ever. We were lucky last year and went 3 times (which isn't normal for a Canadian lol). But we have been stuck with money issues (how can you go to DL 3 trips and not :headache: ). Anyhooo my boys keep asking me when can we go back. I had to tell them today that it maybe a few years before we go back. Which is killing me as I love anything Disney. So for now I will live through those on the trip report boards and what not here on Dis.

Kell I am so with you :cloud9: . I'm hoping I can sneak a little into a savings account to fund a surprise trip.

oooh isn't it awful to have to tell the kids sorry not this year... or even give them a possible date?!?!

Georgia asks EVERYDAY! She said just before bed, "mom, its ok you are working and not home at night sometimes, you are makin the big bucks for Disneyland, since it cost so much money"

Oh its heart breaking. But I had to laugh .."the big bucks" Glad I wasn't drinking anything. haha
