ANyone here ever get married at disneyland. If so do you know if they have intimat packages like disneyworld. I really want something small. Maybe 40 people. I also thought about having a fantasmic desert party as the reception. Get married take pics. Take pics in the park and then have a dessert party

While I'm not married, I've seen my share of weddings around DL, both in the parks (pretty much just DL) and around the hotels, so I'm sure they do. Since the Fantasmic dessert buffet is $49 per person for adults, that might be a pretty pricey reception for just desserts.

I've seen weddings there. If you do it inside Disneyland there's a place to the left of the Castle where the weddings take place. That's for a wedding of approx. 50 guests. If you want the elaborate one, do the whole Cinderella Coach thing and invite Cinderella & her Prince. That would be at the Disneyland Hotel. It's beautiful. You MUST hire their harpist (Cynthia)...she is AWESOME!

I didn't think they did that anymore... ?

I believe the minimum for a wedding inside the park is $50,000. I looked in to doing a wedding at DLR since it's right around the corner from us and the minimum is $10,000. Similar to a custom wedding at WDW. DLR does not offer intimate packages.

Also, I'm not sure that there is a place in DL that would be able to accommodate a Fantasmic dessert party for the number of guests a wedding would include. However, this is something I'm not 100% sure on.

oh yes....mickey & minnie shows up. these are usually popular with young couples from japan. i forget the name of the area. i think it's "carnation gardens"?? to inquire about this event, you should contact disneyland's sales dept. universal studios hollywood has a very similar program.

They used to do intimate weddings at DL, 20 people or less, but discontinued them in early 2003. My daughter had hers at the Paradise Pier Hotel at their gazebo by the pool. Even that venue has now disappeared.

The weddings done near the castle in DL, from what I was told when we were doing the planning, was strictly reserved for Japanese couples as they bring in a lot of the wedding business.

The minimum now for a wedding is $10,000 at one of the hotels and $50,000 for an in-park wedding, which is done after hours.

My daughter just recently looked into a DL wedding. The cost is $50,000. The location is near the Carnation Gardens on the little grassy area. If I remember correctly, they would only accomodate 20 people and you were escorted directly out of the park after your wedding. The weddings take place after the park is closed.

In my opinion -- $50,000 is way too much to spend for about 20 minutes in the park.

She opted for a beautiful wedding at the Bellagio in LV -- 27 people on the terraza with the fountains in the back. It was magical. We had their dinner reception at Nine at the Palms. They parties all night at the Ghost Bar. Then they took their honeymoon in WDW.

Believe me -- all that didn't come to $50,000!
