Disneyland was GREAT!!!

We just got back from our trip last night! We had such a good time! Thanks for everyone that answered my questions on here and helped me out! My DH has definitely decided that DLR is better than WDW. Though it was very crowded, we really loved Disneyland and we thought that all of the rides were better! They had piranhas on Jungle Cruise! I never read anything about that! HAHA! We really enjoyed ourselves! Thanks everyone!!!

Glad you enjoyed the original.(And yes, many of the rides are DLR are better than WDW, but don't tell them on the WDW boards) And the feel of DL is just the best.

Glad to hear you had a great trip! I love WDW, it was my first Disney theme park experience and holds many special memories, but my heart truly belongs to DL! There's nothing like the magic of Walt's park! Yes, I still cry every time I see the majestic Cinderella's Castle for the first time each trip, but otherwise, Magic Kingdom feels like a cheap copy to me now that I've seen Disneyland!

This WDW vet completely agrees! We went back to WDW this past summer and feel cheated that we didn't get to go back to Disneyland instead. DL is heads and shoulders better as far as parks go.

When they first put the piranhas in, they were a lot faster and people in the boat would get splashed. They've toned it down a bit, but it is still fun to see first-timer's reactions.

I totally forgot about the piranhas! They also took my family by surprise when we rode Disneyland's Jungle Cruise for the first time in June. Very clever touch.
