Disneyland vs Disney world?

Is there much of a difference in wedding planning? I didnt realize that some of you were married in disneyland....

Well, the Disneyland Fairy Tale Wedding Department is much smaller than Walt Disney World's, and not the well oiled machine that Florida has.

We originally investigated a Disneyland wedding (since we practically live there!) but the options were limited, the prices were higher, and the communication left a lot to be desired....

My hat is off to the couples who have been able to plan their dream weddings at Disneyland.

I am planning a wedding at Disneyland. Beleive me sometimes I wish I could scrap it all and head to WDW. But Disneyland is my favorite! Plus transportation is higher. But, WDW has many, many more options and is certainly more affordable. There is an FAQ sticky for Disneyland brides if you are curious.

Also, you learn to hear the word no a lot at Disneyland weddings! that's how I felt at first anyway after reading all these boards and all the options at WDW.

Both Lurkyloo and Val are right on the money! We had our wedding at DLR in 2003 and felt the same way back then. FTW is much smaller at DL (and even smaller 5 years ago) and they limit the locations availabe for use. We became use to hearing the word "no" and not receiving prompt communication. We had a wonderful wedding, but we had to be paitent in the process.
