Hi everyone,
Sorry for asking again but I put this in the main Disneyland page but thought it might work better here.

Hello everyone!
I'm totally new to this page and all of this so please forgive me if this has been asked multiple times or if it's a silly question. So to try to keep this short, I'm coming to DL for a trip in November and will be staying on property for the first time in over 40 years, at the villas. I'm super excited. For some context, I always try to avoid connecting rooms, just for a variety of reasons. I'm just wondering, I talked to some helpful people on FB, and they mentioned that this category -- Deluxe Studio Standard View -- are all non-connecting. Only the preferred studios connect because that's where all the one-bedroom lock offs are. So I booked the standard view, but can anyone who has inside knowledge confirm this? I'd really appreciate it very much, thank you.
Another very helpful person sent me the floor plan for the villas that are listed on the DH DVC page; it confirms what I've been told but have you all found these to be accurate? Again, thanks very much for your help everyone. I know it's probably over thinking things but I just want to be comfortable on my trip. I go to WDW many times a year but I never get to go to DL so I'm really looking forward to it!

True that only preferred deluxe studios have a chance of connecting to a one bedroom villa, with no one bedrooms in standard. However there are only 18 of them compared to the over 200 total deluxe studios in that whole tower. (Those 18 are mix of cash & Disney vacation club (DVC) inventory). Odds are a preferred won’t have the connecting door.

So now it’s price and location decision. Standard are on the south side of that tower, with some at the west end of that “T-ish” building shape. Basic views of blah. (Of course with no balcony, view may not be important). Preferred are either on the back perimeter of the palette pool (west side of building) or those you see on the front (east) side of the tower.

Then it comes to theming. Those connecting deluxe studios will all be Tiana since the one bedrooms are themed that way. Otherwise deluxe studios on an odd numbered floor are Aurora theme & even numbered floors are Tiana themed.

Hope this info helps some with your connecting room concern & category choice. Enjoy your stay!
