Monday 11/27..oh the joy continues...
Today was moving day and I was super excited...moving over to DLH...I tried not to get my hopes up too high regarding which tower, floor, area etc...was up by 6 and checked out and at DLH
by 7:30...It had been raining since early in the wee hours of the am and it would continue most of the day and night...I wanted to make sure I was at the park when they did the countdown...check in was very quick and we were told to come back around 3ish...went into the fantasia shop and purchased ponchos...cheryl had brought leftover turkey and dressing plus bread, jello and chips and she had put it in the fridge at the hotel so we sat on the roof of the parking garage and she made us huge sandwiches...we headed to the park after that and on the way I stopped at Jazz kitchen express for some much needed coffe and had to buy the beignets of course
cheryl picked up her ecv and on we went...dang it I missed the countdown again! oh wellwe rode btmr,small world, saw merlin do his act at king arthurs carousel...decided to go over to reindeer roundup where I bought a mickey ear santa hat then started watching this magic act they were doing...oh man the jokes this guy was doing was so laaaaaaame 
took some pics of the reindeers and santa in his house...very cute 
back to NOS and went on potc again...pirates tried to pick pocket cheryl and she smacked em 
we went over to club 33 door so I could show her where it was...then we headed over to TT to see mickey and minnies house...just as I was getting ready to go in and see him I got a call from SpazzyJazzy...told her I was just about ready to go see the one and only so she said she would meet me out by the fountain...I was so happy that Mickey was wearing his tux as usually he is in his shorts or that fantasia getup...took pics with him
and went outside where I met SpazzyJazzy...she doesnt really broadcast it much but you want to talk about a Tink fan...woah! she has 2 full length tats of tink and she was wearing her tink tank she had her son with her but he was a little shy...didnt want to wait around..you know things to do places to go...it was close to 12:30 and we had ps for CO...I invited her to come along but she was taking her son to Pizza Port so she declined...we did talk for a few minutes and because I knew I would be seeing her and Albort, I made them both keychains from the lime green paint chips at HD....with their screen names on the front and Dis Rocks!! on the back...in glitter of course 
so we parted ways but I was really glad to meet her 
...went back to NOS and CO...again seated quickly and we were indoors yay! 
...Cheryl had the french onion soup and I had the monte cristo duh!!

we decided to have dessert so I got the beignets with vanilla sauce and raspberry sauce and cheryl had this chocolate crepe....they told her it would be about 15 minutes to make...was it worth it...OMG yes!!!...that was the best thing ever!! the chocolate inside was like a warm pudding and the chocolate was real not powder or chocolate flavored...it was so good....my beignets were as well but I wished I had of got the crepe...
cheryl wanted to ride splash and I wasnt really keen on the idea especially because it wasnt warm outside but I did have my poncho so I said ok...like the dork I am, I sat in front
and I didnt get wet...I got soaked from head to toe....so bad that I had to pull my hair back and put my hat back on because it messed it so bad...and even with my poncho on my shoes and sides of my legs were soaked....it was about 3:30 so we went to go call and see if our room was ready...I got all the way to NOS and Adventureland and looked down to realize my plastic pouch was gone and guess what was inside it? yep my parkhopper with 3 days left on it...I was gonna turn it in for credit towards an AP...I took off back to SM and went through the exit and as I was going in, the dream squad was there giving out hats and wouldnt you know they wouldnt give me one because I was going in the exit now out the exit...whatever! the cm was really nice and looked through every single boat and couldnt find it...I had to go to city hall and they gave me a one day pass but I already knew it was hopeless and I wasnt going to get it back...everybody kept saying " oh this is a magical place...you never know...tickets turn up all the time... 
give me a break...it was gone...so I had to go over to stand in line so I could get an AP...I had to turn around and pay another $239 for it...and to make matters worse, I had to take off my hat and my hair was AWFUL...I was wet, crying, black on my face from mascara...this was the worst day ever....I was sooo depressed...I just wanted to get out of those clothes and put something warm on...it was cold....got back to hotel to get room assignment and low and behold I got exactly what I had wanted...Marina Tower....4th floor...close to the elevator but not too close....and good pool view....in fact we were room 2224 and right next door to the room me and my daughter first stayed at when we stayed at DL hotel the first time 
brought back warm fuzzy memories...oh and then it reminded me when I almost lost my shoe in the lake half in the paddle boat and half out doing the splits...sheesh...got a nice big room with a sofa sleeper...nice to sit on...after we changed clothes went to WDTC office and told them what happened...they dont have any way of tracing these tickets unless you sign them...how stupid is that? 
oh well...then on to Lost and Found to fill out a report and back to DCA to ride TOTx2 hehe....then back to DL to ride HM...went to the tiki room to watch the show and got a dole whip, which we shared...got in the tiki room and saw jose and busted up laughing remembering Mystic saying his head fell off ...I was really tired emotionally and physically by this point and didnt do alot more due to cheryl and her pin trading stops every two steps 
we closed the park down...ok ok it closed at 8 so what...it was windy and freezing outside and we were hungry so we decided to go to La Brea for paninis...I got the ham and gruyere with some mac and cheese which was really good...Im not sure what kinds of cheese they used but it wasnt typical cheddar or american...cheryl got a turkey and swiss and fruit salad...took them back to the room and I called Albort and talked to him for a few minutes filling him in on the days WONDERFUl events and made plans for Tuesday as we were hanging out all day 
Cheryl fell to sleep by 10...me 11...I just prayed the rest of the week would be less eventful
Tip of the day...DONT carry your ticket around in your plastic pouch that is hanging on your lanyard...
also, sign the ticket.....
will the events of my trip continue to get worse??? have to wait till the next installment to see wont ya!!
