Disneyland Toy Story Parking Lot

Our family of 7 leaves in 10 days for Disneyland. We are staying a half block from the Toy Story parking lot.

Is it true that we can walk in to the giant lot and board the shuttle for Free without parking a car there?

Yes it is true. We did this when we stayed at the Hilton. It is a nice option at the. End of a long day and you don't feel like walking all the way back

Nevermind, I never realized there were a lot more boards below the "Disney Vacation Club" which I assumed was something that would be below a basic board like Disneyland. Oops - my goof.

Does anyone know of the hotels that are fairly close walking distance to the Toy Story parking lot?

We are staying at the Best Western Raffles and it is just south of the parking lot.

Our friends stayed at the Homewood suites last week and did that several times a day with no problems.

The Sheraton Park is also close to the structure but we've always just walked to the parks.
