Hi everyone
I have just booked the hotel for our upcoming trip in June. While booking it said that we could add some trips to different themeparks ect. in the area. Since we are coming all the way from Europe, we have talked about doing some daytrips away from DLR.
Booking a couple of trips with Disney would be the easiest, but I can't find any info on these trips.
So I want to know if any of you have tried the trip to Seaworld or the LA./Hollywood trip? Are they one day trips? Worth the money? Ect.????
Thanks :)

The tours aren't offered by Disneyland themselves. The ones that most people use are with Grayline Bus Company. We did the one to SeaWorld and we loved it. It is $69, which includes transporation to/from your hotel and a day's admission to SeaWorld. We didn't have to worry about driving, parking, etc. and they had a movie on during the ride back to our hotels. It worked out great and we would do it again. Here is the info. for all the tours offered by them. I hope you have a wonderful trip!:)

We did the Sea World and loved it. This trip we are going on the L.A. tour.

I am sure we will be enjoying it.

We, too, did the SeaWorld day trip. Completely worth the money - it was a great no hassle trip.:banana:

We did SeaWorld as well. No problems at all. Something, that I don't know why we didn't think about, was we left SeaWorld around 6pm arriving back at our hotel around 8.15? We didn't think about dinner. We did have some snacks and we were permitted to eat on the bus. So if you are hungry, or think you might be, it's worth having something at Seaworld before you leave. There was a toilet on the bus.

The driver on the way to SeaWorld talked about the San Juan(?) Mission and took us off the freeway to have a quick look at it in passing, and pointed out a few other bits and pieces on the way.

He also reminded us that in the Sharmu show the water is salt water and will damage most cameras etc, unless waterproof. Or sit in the non-splash zone.

We did the LA/Hollywood tour with Grayline tours in December. We loved it, it was a great day and we would do it again. Our first stop was sort of like little mexico, where we had the best churros we have ever eaten, next stop Hollywood, we spent an our there. Good grief, that was a big of an eye opener, the driver said its also called Hollyweird and yes it was that, but still great to see the Kodak Theatre and the stars on the sidewalk etc. Then next stop was the Farmers Markets and The Grove I think it's called. We had lunch at the markets and the food was amazing! Then a great shop at the Grove. Next stop was Santa Monica, that was great, we loved seeing the pier and wandering around, then we stopped at Venice Beach... we didn't stay there for long, it was almost on dark so we just walked to the beach then walked back. But our driver (Charles I think his name was) was just fantastic, he has been in LA his whole life so was so knowledgable. It really was a wonderful tour, we really enjoyed it.

We also did San Diego Zoo and Legoland with Grayline Tours. We enjoyed both of them too they were really just drive us down and drive us back and we spent the day ourselves, where as the LA/Hollywood, you spend the day with your tour driver showing you around (except at the stops you wander around yourself)
